Old video, I habe used about every vac there is and this is by far one of the best I have used. I have 3 in my shop and for the power and size. Nothing comes close. As for attachments, now it comes with with the dolly and an additional attachment. As for the hose. Call them. They will send u a hose. Also u even mentioned it's one of the best u have used. As for the heat, it's a 4hp max motor in a small package, yes its gonna get warm buy u dont hold it in your hand. You put it on the floor and hold the hose. As u said, there is no vacuum that beats it. Money well spent.

I like it for several years, but my complaint is it gets too hot. Maybe that is just from several years old.

Just bough a new 2018 chevy truck i want portable no cord and somthing that has hose attachment any recommendations also i have a dog that sheds to cleaning my truck is a weekly task thanks in advance

Wow, you acknowledge you are extremely rough on your equipment and yet you want to bash the product as being "wimpy" because you treat your equipment like crap? I have had my Datavac for over 10 years doing office equipment cleaning and have never had to repair or replace any parts. I think the other issue is this unit was not designed for auto detailing - it was designed around cleaning electronics and business machines. While the Metro can certainly do a decent job I think a better vacuum for auto detailing would be a Vacmaster Beast which my son has personally used for some time in his auto detailing business because you need a vacuum that is designed to handle cleaning wet carpet and upholstery.
