Thank you for the full review, nice demo. Only thing I would add would have been a test drive but 9.5/10

Thanks for the feedback. Good point. I should have because since I did this video I discovered that this location on sprinter dash gets sunny mid day and can cause phone to over temp.

Hi guys I have the same charger but the arms got stuck and doesn't work to grip the phone. Anyone can fix the problem please.

The only issue I’ve encountered is when the USB outlet doesn’t have high enough amps it will cause the arms to not close. Did you try another outlet?

At first I didn’t like the fact you have to manually pull the phone out. But I now understand you don’t want to accidentally hit a button and have it release when on the road etc. I used the pro clip mount for this and they are a great company.

How do you remove the mount to switch between vehicles?
@DadsVan Жыл бұрын
The mount to the dash is suction cup type with some stick adhesive. To remove you just press the release and peel it off. I have done this a few times and it still sticks to my dash ok.

I have the same one but my charge percentage won’t go up and i have the iphone 12 pro max, is there any trick or am doing something wrong?
@DadsVan2 жыл бұрын
I just updated to an iPhone 12 and started having issues with this unit when using the USB on drivers dash. It works fine if I run it off the 12V adapter with USB (what I do now). I also tried some other USB charging ports in the house and they work. Therefore I believe it is an issue with the Sprinter driver dash USB not having enough power to charge the iPhone 12 through this device.

Nice review! Wish you also tested out the clip for the air vent

Thanks for the feedback! I didn't want to block an air vent so I never got that far! Hope you find a good solution for your setup!

Does it have a close function for other phones that doesn't have wireless charging?
@DadsVan3 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately not. The holder sensing the wireless charging is what triggers the arms to open/close.

If you go to their website, or search them on Amazon, they have a cheaper, magnetic version called Magicmount, instead of Magicgrip. The Magicmount uses a metal plate on the back of your phone, or inside your phone case to hold it to the mount in a similar fashion. Their Magicmount Pro has stronger magnets.
