I just bought this from Slaven’s Racing with the map switch and wifi tool. I’ve put about 10 hours with Jeff’s custom map and so far so good. Bike seems to run a little richer off the bottom compared to stock and is very smooth overall. It actually seems to load up a bit while it never did that with stock ecu. It definitely uses more fuel and oil which I’m happy with as well. It actually feels more like a carburetored bike off the bottom but maintains that smooth TPI powerband that we all love. I have not played with the map customization or run the “stock” athena map but I’m looking forward to trying them out.

Good to hear you're getting out of the office and into the woods more. Was worried about you after that big accident a bit ago, and it's been on my mind since I walloped a deer at speed a month ago. Lots of broken bones and time to think about my future riding - and whether I should or not!

My wife and I spent over 2 years in physical therapy. Riding again is what got me through it and made me work hard every day so I could ride with my buddies once again. 3 years later I'm riding well and enjoying every minute. NEVER, EVER give up! NO EXCUSES, PERIOD! Do the work and get your ass back on the trail! Quitting is NOT an option.

Thanks for the information Jeff. In your bike build video for the 23 XC-W it sounded like you might install the injector relocation kit after testing the stock, Coober, and Get ECU's. Have you had a chance to test the injector relocation kit yet? I'd love to hear your take on the differences in the 3 ECU's and the injector relocation kit. My 23 XC-W feels a little weak in the response (slow) and power in the midrange to top end. A little disappointing on bigger hill climbs that require all out power. Hoping to make the right upgrade(s) based on your experience. Thinking high comp head, GET+ injector relocation will make a big impact on performance. Thanks again!

Great. I bought an $11k KTM then I have to spend $1200 to be able to tune it and another $1000 or more to get the suspension to work right.

Hello: You don't have to spend a dime if you don't want to. Many guys ride them stock. The suspension works "right" as delivered but is not custom tuned for your weight, skill level and riding conditions. We offer many options for improving engine and suspension performance, but if you want to increase the fun factor, get out your credit card.

It runs great with the stock ECU as well. If you don’t want to spend the money you definitely do not have to. But if you like to be able to change it up its a good option.
