The colors of the palettes are pretty, but I think that whole entire Gigi Hadid collection was totally overpriced! Is it just more or is the drugstore raising their prices?

Katie Owens I think it's her name, she probably makes communion based on sales ooor they just want more profit because they know her fans will buy the collection anyway. Imho though, I don't think that they'll release info regarding pricing, so we can just speculate

Drugstore products have been slowly increasing their prices for stuff to the point where it's ridiculous. I used to buy drugstore because it was cheap enough to a point where I wouldn't care if the product didn't work, but now since almost all new releases cost more than like $7 I'd much rather spend like $10 more and get a mid range or high end product that I know will work for sure.

I think if we protest by not buying the truly overpriced products they will be forced to lower their prices . The whole Gigi line is an overpriced joke. Hopefully that whole line will be a major fail. 😋

It is overpriced but everything is getting more expensive. Not just makeup. For example, in my country how can a taxi ride maintain the same price if gas is getting more expensive? Just my thoughts tho

My gripe with the Clover palette isn’t about the quality. I just found it off putting that the palette was released to raise money for an animal organization, but Too Faced is owned by Estee Lauder, who is one of the most controversial brands regarding animal testing. To me, if someone was truly morally opposed to animal cruelty, they would not sell out to a company that tests on animals.

Alexis0815 the ethics of too face arnt controlled by their parent brand ! They did a good deed and you still feel the need to attack them. Okay in future they don't bother to raise money for charity.... no that's stupid ! Why should the charity miss out because of who owns the parent company ! Same as the childish crap about selling in china and other countries .... doesn't make a company guilty because a 3rd party by law tests their products

Jovana J I passed it over several times while shopping the Too Faced website this season, but taking a closer look, there's only about 4-5 super bright shades, and I would still probably use 3 of those from time to time... but all the others are very nice and wearable for every day! It's just that upon first glance, all you really see are those bright colors. I might have to get it, now.

I laugh when I hear people who are in their 30s and 40s commenting about their "old" or "mature" skin! (I'm 69.) Anyway, loving your videos. Just placed orders at Sephora and Ulta today and one brand I won't buy is Too Faced. Ever since I heard how rude the owner was to Tati, I decided I didn't want to support the brand in any way, shape or form.

Jess, I really wish you would make a video about color dupes for liquid matte lipsticks! I, like you, have gotten out of the whole liquid matte lipstick phase but some of my favorite lipstick colors are in that format and I would love to find some dupes for them!

I love the clover palette! I was so worried because I love the color selection, but their products have been so iffy lately and inconsistent. But it’s so pigmented and blendable! They even did well with the brights, which is hard for companies to seem to do. So I was very happy to get it, and I’m loving it! 💖

Charli Valosen it’s worth it! They stepped it up with this one. It’s great to work with and the pigmentation is amazing! Some of the shades I can only describe as sparklers, similar to the ones in the “I Want Kandee” palette. They aren’t glitter shadows, there there are a couple like that, and they aren’t pressed pigments. They are just a wash of the finest micro glitter. And the matters are amazing. I love working with color, so if you do too, I would highly recommend it! 💖

Jovana J I love working with color, so when I seen this, I absolutely couldn’t imagine passing on it. Worst case scenario was that I could return it. I bought mine through Ulta so that a return could’ve been more convenient for me, but this thing will have to be pried from my hands now, lol!

I really like the ulta concealer too, but it’s only .08oz (Shape tape is .33oz andAge rewind is .2oz) Not a lot of product but if you get it on a buy 2 get 2 free sale it’s not too bad. Just thought I’d point out the math...Tarte shape tape is $27 for .33 oz so at $9, the ulta one would cost $37 for same amount so not really a good deal.

I'm 99% sure that all of the hate for the Clover palette is because it's Too Faced and it's the "cool" thing to hate on them. I have to try that Ulta concealer! I'm in the market for a new one, didn't totally love the NYX HD one.

I'm a 47 year old grandma and I just tried the ulta concealer today for the first time. It is awesome! Thanks for recommending the ulta stuff, they were having a great sale and I ended up getting 4 of the things you recommended. Love them.

I adore the Clover palette. The colors are amazing. It's like multiple palettes in one. I can get any type or look. Warm, cool, pops of color, natural, Smokey, you name it and it blends great.

I was on the fence with the Clover palette because too faced formula has been a hit or miss lately. But snce Emilynoel and jessica loves it, im definitely going to try it out. I have to wait for a sale though if it’s still available. I dont want to waste money if I know I can save some. They’re the youtubers I really trust when it comes to reviews

Jessie Gunoskey I can't remember which ones but I did watch a few reviews that weren't liking the formula much. Not that they hated it just that it wasn't great and if I'm remembering correctly a couple people said it was very inconsistent. Some shadows were all right others were pretty bad.

Have you tried the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea concealer??? I NEVER hear anyone talking about it but I feel like it covers as well as the Tarte shape tape BUT it is not dry and thick like shape tape. I just picked it up about three weeks ago and the bottle is huge, has the same type of applicator but it does not dry my under eye out horribly like shape tape.

I like how honest you are about products. I also wanted to tell you that I had watched a video you did about elf Cosmetics because they had pretty much everything at 50% for Black Friday/Cyber Monday. I saw you had loved their Smudge Pot in Wine Not, so I was really excited to get it...but they don't have any Smudge Pots on their website at all! I was so sad. Then today, I ran into Dollar Tree to grab some tape and gift bags and what do I see? A whole section of elf products and Smudge Pots in Wine Not!!!! I was freaking out excited, so I bought two!!! I might go back and get one for my sister and for my son's girlfriend too!

The Givenchy foundation is my absolute favorite. I honestly try not to love it because of the price tag but somehow I always go back. The finish it gives is beautiful. I have dry skin but I do set it with the bye bye pores loose powder and bam! Flawless 🙃

The Clover palette looks exactly like a kid's pencil case for school. Not sure if kids in the U.S. use tin cases, but in Asia, they're pretty common. I think the eyeshadow colors look alright but I wouldn't want to pay that much money for a palette that looks like something I would have put my school stationery in when I was a kid.

Ally Bull I don't think it's petty tbh. If a company is unethical and mean enough, who would *want* to support that? Ethics do matter. That's the same concept behind why folks don't support animal cruelty brands even if the products are alright. Or why people won't support a brand if they're racist and/or not inclusive. Who would want to perpetuate that? Also, Tati was done very dirty and treated POORLY by Blandino. Lol she has every right to remove herself some toxicity. She wasn't the only one either. People are just trying to avoid a toxic company it's not that deep or drama for dramas sake.

Kind of disagree with having personality separate from product. I mean, in particular to the Tati incident, I won’t boycott TF just because of what she said because I only have a vague idea of what happened, and one of my favorite vloggers works with him. However in general, I think it’s important to keep the two together because when you buy a product despite its brand/brand owners horrible reputation, you’re paying for that to continue. At that point you can’t even say you don’t support racism or rude behavior or whatever they do because you’re literally paying for this person/brand to be as successful as they are.

I ❤ my TF Clover Palette, too. Out of the 18 shades, I love 16 of them. And I am OBSESSED with the ULTA Beauty Color Correcting concealer in Peach. It's the same concealer, just in a color-correcting shade. And OMG! It COMPLETELY turns my purple circles into the same shade as my skin once it's on and blended. And it doesn't cake up any other concealer I put over it.

Jessica, I just love your videos! I am 56, single parent, and have always loved makeup! I have bought more makeup based on your reviews. Being budget friendly, and having a natural beauty without fillers and Botox is appreciated. Not that there is anything wrong with that.lol I’m a nurse and work 12 hr shifts, so I need my face to stay on for the duration of the day. I want to present a nice face for my patients. I actually love the Ulta concealer as well. I also wear the light cool shade, this last rube seemed a bit warmer toned to me but I have been using it for a couple of years with good results.

I really like how the Too Faced bronzer and highlighter look natural which is what I’m interested in and the Maybelline eye palette looks pretty also.

I love these kinds of videos Jess! You're honestly starting to be one of my absolute favorite youtubers! I also LOOOVE you morning tutorials on Snapchat or Instagram! My biggest issue with Too Faced is that they come out with products that seem to be very childish (like this Clover palette) which seems to cater to kids and then come out with products that seems to cater to a very much adult audience (like the Better than Sex mascara or the Glow Job mask). That just makes me uncomfortable with them. I think it's super creepy and they just need to pick one. But until they do I AM NOT BUYING THEIR PRODUCTS. Anyways that's just my 2 cents. Great video!

I want that TooFace Clover palette. I love the colors. I like that mix of bright pop of color and neutrals. They are donating 250000 to the Best Friends Animal Society, I thought that was great. The packaging is adorable I would love to have it but it's out off my budget 😔😔

Emily Higgins I think that all stemmed from the issues that were so pervasive last year with their Sweet Peach launch, quality control issues, and their bad Christmas shipping season. I didnt place ANY orders with them all this past year because of the stories I had been hearing. I took a chance and ordered this year, and everything was absolutely impeccable, from product, presentation, shipping, and wait time. I placed my order in the evening, got my shipping confirmation the next morning, and 2 days later, it was here. Whatever issues they were having last year, they seem to have turned it around, big time, and they have their act together, now.

Have you ever used Smashbox under eye primer? I just got the trial size primer sampler on black Friday and it is really great! Seems to de-puff undereyes and minimize fine lines. I going to buy the full size now.

Try the Clarins Skin Illusion foundation! It’s wonderful! Medium to full coverage, keeps me from getting as oily as I normally would, and has the most natural finish-it’s almost a velvet matte. Plus, it smells amazing. I wore it on my wedding day ❤️

Everyone likes tarte shape tape. I DON'T! I have super dry skin and more mature skin so it doesn't sit right under my eyes. And it looks alright everywhere except for under my eyes and on my nose. And by the way I hate the words mature skin. Im just old, I got old people skin I'm 33 years old 3 kids I got bags under my eyes and i have RLS i don't sleep enough😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🎄☃️❤ i really want to try ULTA brand concealer.. i also enjoy watching your videos

lynslee Grumbling makeup huzzie I so agree I absolutely despise shape tape. I'm 39 and have very dry skin. That stuff made me look so old and like my skin was cracking from being so dry. I've found only 3 concealer I can wear under the eyes bareminerals bare skin, benefit erase paste(now called boi-ing brightening) and my top pick tarte maracuja creaseless concealer. Fit me is decent too.

I'm 48 and use the Aldi under eye concealer which is a dupe for the Touche Eclat. It's fabulous, non-drying, really brightening and stays put all day

I agree as well, I returned the Tarte Shape Tape. I am 41 but always mistaken for about 34-35ish with no fine lines to really speak of. I returned the Tarte concealer and after returning several others have decided the NARS Radiant Creamy is the only one for me...perhaps though I’ll have to make an exception w/ Ulta’s and give it a go.

I'm not dry under my eyes but I don't get the love for it. It drys so quickly you have to do one eye at a time ( which is fine) but it creases worse on me than any other concealer I own and looks dry. I love the bh cosmetics pro concealer. Full coverage barely creases and cheap

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the Ulta brand concealer!!!! It just looks so nice on my skin and doesn't crease as bad as other concealers do. Every single concealer creases on me. It's just the way it is. The concealer that creases the least on me is the Tarte maracuja creaseless concealer. It's not creaseless, but I was surprised at how little it creased.

I love the clover palette. The cover confused a lot of pple but they basically put all their other palettes in characters. Like the sweet bon bon, chocolate bars, etc. The animals are their because of the donation to help animals which is what this palette is for. The whale does exist lol a lot of gurus seriously think it's made believe, ladies google exist for a reason. Loved this video. Xo

Physicians formula butter bronzer, ITS THE BEST!!!! Smashbox Photo Finish Hydrating Foundation Primer, really nice!! The dropper foundations are great for dry skin, lots of good ones!!!! Milk makeup highlighter is very moisturizing!!! TARTE BLUSHES ARE THE BEST, they have lots of shades so whatever floats your boat! Tiffany L. Prevost cream bronzer/ contour - use a deeper shade of your favorite concealer. Blush- NARS cream blush is beautiful and comes with a pump! Highlight - cover fx custom enhancer drops! Those are my favorite cream for when my skin is dry but I also love it under my powders when I'm oily!
