I'm 38 too and bought two different lines from Kerastase and they made my hair feel like straw. Not hydrating at all. Was thinking it was because I was getting older but that wasn't it at all. I used my usual damaged hair shampoo and conditioner and my hair came back to life.

I actually really like that K18 shampoo. I’ve even repurchased it. I find it to be gentle and moisturizing and it doesn’t weigh down my fine hair.
