Prof. Ananth was my undergrad thesis advisor and he was such a wonderful professor. He had invited all of us to his home at the end of his course. When I visited him several years later, he would recall that I was not able to come to his house. We were lucky to have at IITM.

Good to know about IITM history, Dr Ramachandan's initiatives, role of MHRD and planning commission, and your initiatives such as NPTEL and Research Park. We would like to know more on SAARANG, Shastra, CLT talks, OAT and sports activities. Yes part 2 is needed : )

Did you really look after the hospital? It was very pathetic and I doubt if it has changed for the better. Good that the research focus is lot better.
