Now then chris, a tip iv found to get a super single of when its proper fast on, smack it on the edge of the tread / side wall instead of the middle of the tyre face, give it a go, keep em comeing brilliant stuff Chris knowles

To pull them hubs, get an old rim turn in backwards put it on the hub with 4 wheel nuts ,weld a plate across the middle and jack between it and the hub with a small jack or port a power ,

When whacking a spanner or allen key, flick a rag over it, hold the rag tight when you whack it to avoid all the twang. Holding it tight also takes the initial spring out of the blow so you get a firm hit and not just springing back. Works a treat for me and you're never 2ft from a rag

As somebody already mentioned…silicone is to prevent threads on stub rusting,you can replace the bearings without the need to change the hub, bit of a fiddle but doable ,sometimes you can get tight hubs off by hitting the back of the disc with your sledgehammer,and you can buy an m24 flogging spanner for the calliper bolts(makes the struggle bit easier,)also the saf hubs never run as freely as traditional wheel bearings always have resistance..n finally the old hub bolts don’t always just screw out…sometimes you have weld nuts on em and air gun em out. I worked for a tanker hire firm and we literally had hundreds o the feckers…all the best from a retired struggler

Top job Chris I had a professional struggling moment on a 9 ton Volvo excavator today fuel full of water operator didn’t realise water trap light was even on dash. Took first stage filter off and water pissed out for too long. In end had to drain tank completely and change both filters. More water than fuel on board miracle it was even running changed filters new fuel all is well again. Didn’t have professional tool to drain the tank had to struggle by using a bent screwdriver to hold the fuel dump valve in bent one in the oxy acetylene just for the job the struggle is real. Keep up good videos I love your positivity and I’ve bent and cut many spanner’s and made tools to struggle out of a struggle beats buying the right tool also makes me feel rather smug to av not bought specialist tool for extreme pound notes to use maybe twice 🤔 keep it up 👍

I was a professional struggler Like you for 20 years in the HGV industry( my body aches just watching you , I remember the pain !!! )before selling my soul to a easier life working in a factory ( I sold my life for money and the big pay cheque ) looking back I enjoyed struggling and what it taught me was priceless , it set me up in life !!! Thank the lord for professional struggling 👍. Yours videos are so educational , if you ever get sick of professional struggling you need to become a collage lecturer in the motor vehicle department , to teach up and coming professional struggling. Another great video from the happiest struggler 🤣😂. That wheel bearing must have deafened many a car driver. You've probably noticed, the nearside spindle (offside in wrong side of the road countries), has a circular groove on the end face, this denotes left-hand thread, used to ensure the correct handed spindle is loaded in the friction welder automation. Aup Mondo! I did try once to make one but it just bent! My mate has got a thread cleaner tool with different threads on each face that I’ve lent a few times..... got me out of trouble. Have a weekend mate

Honestly these videos are Golden, I’m a trailer fitter in Immingham, 11 years long years I’ve struggled for!!! you’ve forgot more than I know!!! I’m mobile fitter mainly on fleet inspections (or as my Forman says SPOILT) but occasionally in the workshop when they have a shit job no one wants to touch haha I’m always open to learn about things that will help me out in the future everyday is a school day, cheers Chris keep up the good content

There is the occasional benefit to always working on the floor and not over a pit. When a hub sticks I put the wheel back on with two nuts , lie underneath and kick the thing off.

I had to explain to one of our apprentices yesterday what a professional struggler was, just at the point he got a 1/4 full fuel tank wedged between the fuel tank bracket, and side rail bracket trying to slide the tank across, under, and then out from the truck! The whole job would have been so simple if the side rails would come off as they should, but they wouldn’t without cutting all the mounting bolts, and that wasn’t an good option for the time given. Instead we went with unbolt the tank bracket, swing it across, then put in maximum effort, and struggle like fuck crawling round on the floor! 😆 Love watching all your videos down here in Exeter, can’t wait for the professional struggler merch!

Well couldn't afford that puller so I got an old truck wheel cut the middle out welded a frame on it Use a small bottle jack between stub & frame never let me down

Silicone must be to try and prevent the water getting in about the threads as you probably know how bad SAF nuts are for seizing onto the axle threads
