You know, as appreciative I am that there are videos like these out here to show new drivers what it’s like to be out here on the road, I am still somewhat disgusted that of all the rules and regulations that we drivers have to follow from municipal, provincial/state And federal regulations, that we could be as professional as we possibly can and do everything right, write down to the letter and yet our occupation still cannot be legitimately considered by the government as a skilled trade. Without our occupation as professional drivers, other legitimate skilled trades such as a plumber, a carpenter, a pipefitter, hell even a chef and a hairstylist wouldn’t have the tools of the trade that they need To continue their career without us drivers bringing it to the distribution centres or any other store where they buy their materials from. Our beloved industry is going right down the tubes.
