The guy is vaping that much at work it would likely be a huge come down if he didn’t vape outside of work too. I know it isn’t hard drugs or anything but it is still drugs and it is still addictive. Think of him like an alcoholic that has to start drinking as soon as they wake up, they can’t even wait until the afternoon or evening to start drinking again because of the comedown and withdrawal. This guy is addicted to vaping and he cannot stop, he is force fed the vapes if he wants to keep his job, so his only option outside of work would probably be to put up with the comedown and withdrawal or just vape then too. With the amount he has to vape at work him vaping at home likely isn’t doing any extra damage to his health.

The timing of this video is insane. I’m a store manager at a smoke shop, and recently the company I work for asked me to go to their warehouse to test six brands of vapes and review them individually to see which brand we should bring in. Little did I know that was six brands, with 20 flavors each, and I needed to try every flavor and give an in depth written review for each one. I’m never saying yes again. Every manager that said yes got sick. This industry is terrifying As far as sanitation, we use plastic mouthpieces between employees and don’t sell the ones that were tested.

I think it’s just to test if they actually work. Whenever I go to buy a disposable vape, the shopkeeper asks that I take a hit of it in the shop to make sure it’s working. A lot of people also try to lie and scam their way into a refund. They buy a vape, then a few hours later come back and say that it wasn’t working and that they want a refund. If a customer or store try to get a refund from the manufacturers, they probably can’t be held responsible because they’ve been tested in the factory

Vape shop worker here! Didn't notice this video but this is insane. It's contaminating the the mouthpiece (even if there is 'sterilization', it's unsafe) and taking a little power from the actual disposable. But to the specifics, more than likely, they are vaping with the 'MTL' or 'Mouth To Lung' method. So they just inhale to the mouth, then exhale to just disperse the smoke and mostly just get the flavor. ALTHOUGH they would still be getting A LOT of nicotine per day. Their tolerance must be off the charts, as almost all disposables use 5% nicotine (or 50mgs) which is in the range of your 'Salt Nicotine' (which can go from 2.4% (24 mgs) to 6.5% (65 mgs)). @@poormetau vape store manager here, the standard way of measuring puff count is based off of the assumption that 1ml of juice is equal to 1,000 hits, so when they say 15,000 puffs, they are actually TYPICALLY saying "15ml of Vape Juice." of course, most companies exaggerate because a puff can vary etc etc, but typically speaking, you can divide the puff count by 1000 and thats the ml of juice.

There probably never would be. I'm starting to think all these Chinese business insider videos are agenda driven. I was a consultant that specialized in automation and traveled all over Asia, east and west and some places in the middle east. During my run through china almost every company i visited and talked to were doing their best to protect the workers and the environment, so unless they kept all the child workers locked up whilst i was there i never saw any kind of poor business practices. That is not to say that there were no companies there doing things wrong but during my time in the US i saw multiple health and safety violations, even had a death on site when i was there so its not like those poor business practices were only restricted to countries outside of the US. The middle east was the worst i had seen and the most frustrating. The CEOs there are making an absurd amount of money with a clear disregard for workers. They have the money to set up their shops to run clean and safe but they simply do not care. The point I'm trying to make is that there will be no footage of what Chinese businesses are doing right cause Governments around the world use the narrative that Chinese business is bad to stop foreign competition in western cornered markets.

In general disposable vapes are vile and should genuinely be banned. Both in terms of how easy and convenient it is for teenagers to get them and in terms of how much waste it is. A full rechargable battery gets thrown away every time you finish one of these things. If anyone uses disposables please consider buying a fillable rechargable one if you can't/don't want to quit. It's much cheaper in the long term for you and less damaging to your health.

Teacher here, disposable vapes are really popular among high schoolers (especially as my older peers dont know that they are a thing) in part because if they get confiscated it is not as big of a deal as a reusable vape. And the U.S. Government has regulated standalone juices (in a bottle) for _refillable_ vapes but *not* for _disposable_ vapes. The regulation makes it so if you want to bring a new flavor to market, it costs upwards of *1 million dollars* per flavor. But, if you sell that same new flavor juice in a *disposable* vape, it's not under regulation, so you can create as many new flavors as you want - you just can't sell it in a bottle. So what happens? Vape juice companies stop making _new_ refillable flavors, U.S. vape companies almost completely go out of business, and the U.S. market is filled with chinese refillable vapes, and refillable vape mod market dies down almost completely. Fast forward 2 years, and now the disposable vape market makes up probably 80-90% of vape product sales, because the flavors are _much_ better than what you can buy from refillable juice bottle brands, and because the companies that make disposables can test and bring to market any flavor they want without the insane million dollar fees from the FDA regulations. China has the manpower, the factory power, and lack of regulations for the disposable market that the U.S. can't compete with like the U.S. could with refillables before regulation, and China has no juice regulation for exports. They can just make the product and ship it in, since its not in a bottle, its all cleared, no fees. I can't stress it enough, if you buy a bottle of nicotine juice, it tastes _significantly_ worse than disposable vape juice. Vaping is significantly more healthy than smoking cigarettes there is no doubt about it, but the government tried to kill vaping and it gave birth to an extremely huge plastic-waste industry and took potentially billions of dollars out of the U.S. economy while also making it extremely _more expensive_ for the consumer and backfiring in that the convenience and massive abundance of the disposables makes it 10x easier for high schoolers to get their hands on and conceal.

i’m an electronics engineer, and i tried to do something about this to no avail. it’s so sad how many people use disposable vapes, and because of the way they’re manufactured, controlled substances leech onto the components that would otherwise be reusable or recyclable making them unable to be sent anywhere but a landfill. i tried collecting the spent ones from people and disassembling them to reuse the batteries (huge fire/cut/shock hazard unless you’re a professional, please do not attempt), but the flavored nicotine fluid is so strong just keeping the batteries in the lab made me feel sick, and they couldn’t be completely sterilized by any methods approved for reuse in refurbished devices. the worst part is that buying a 510-threaded battery unit and disposable or reusable cartridges is actually cheaper, but people can’t be bothered to charge them or store them in a way they don’t degrade over time, and those usually end up in landfills as well, because it takes an extra step to take them somewhere that accepts e-waste. edit: what’s worse is that manufacturers knew exactly what they were doing when the designed this stuff. reusable vapes existed first, and there has been a huge waste problem like this in the medical community for decades, since medical devices need to be sterile and tamper resistant. instead of looking at things like automated medicine cartridges and saying “wow it’s so terrible all that plastic and all those electronics have to be thrown in the garbage; there’s a way more efficient way we can recreate this type of product” they said “let’s get people addicted to that but for this so we can make more money per item.”
