It is long overdue. As for the West Bank, the UN should arrange the immediate relocation of all the illegal Israelis settlers to the land within the State of Israel. As part of the reparations, all the illegal settlements and infrastructures should be hand over to the new Palestinian State so as to allow homeless Palestinian people to move in. This will save some cost of building new homes for the Palestinian refugees. All the 14 UNSC and all UNGA members should veto the US out if it tries to block this move.

The Strategic miscalculation from US foreign policy is just shockingly bad. US has no strategic interests to support Israel this way, as this has severed all Arab ties to the Israel government for the foreseeable future.
