This is my first time writing a elevator pitch speech. I am a Lead Supply Technician at the VA Hospital. I train new Supply Techs, I communicate with Doctors, Nurses, and Staff about products and substitutes for products that are out of stock. I am the VP of the Union, and a member of the Emergency Response Team. I'm trying to make a great speech about my communication skills, teaching skills, and problem solving skills.

Perhaps thinking about ’words’ not statements/phrases works for reducing the time. Also, people want to hear what they are going to get out of it. So it’s 10/20. 10 sec what we do, 20 sec how / why they would want to hire/ be interested in our business.

stumbled across this and was perfect for what I needed. I have a question though, I currently have 2 career paths I focus on, that have the ability to overlap but not currently and wasn't sure if I should have 2 pitches or combine them. The experience I have in one path would help attract clients in the other, but unsure if it's too messy to say "hi I'm Kane and I'm a operations supervisor and a mindset coach" if that makes sense

I do not want to sound rude, but I think you should practice your own elevator pitch. It took you 3 minutes to start talking about the 4 steps. I waited to see what you were going to say. Then when you finally started talking about the 4 steps the answers to the questions were the common answers that people do. If someone talks to me the same way that most people do I lose interest.
