Ah yes the legendary Air Locker. Plenty used Australia for 30 years that I know of.

I think it'd make more sense to go straight up drill a hole through the housing instead of having all that slack in there that will tangle up

It won't get tangled up. You need the extra line so it is a little flexible. If it's rigid, there is a greater chance of it cracking as there is no where for it to move when the housing flexes under load

​@The BFH GarageI would humbly suggest if your axle housing is flexing then you need to either upgrade or brace it. I have been installing ARB lockers since 1994. I have never had an internal leak from the line, the seals yes but never the line. I have always run them straight out. Looping them around like this makes the line vibrate and crack more not less. The fluid moving inside that housing is violent at speed. Just my two cents. Also if you want less air locker problems run braided line from the diffs instead of crap plastic.

@Simon Elenor Agree to disagree I suppose. The housing will flex some depending on the application. That's why the first generation 3 piece ARB's were discontinued. If they didn't have enough pre-load then they would flex enough to break the case bolts. Running the line like that is fine.... If it wasn't then I'd have a shop full of warranty work every year and I don't.

Allows for flex of the housing. Rigid line can create stress cracks.

Cuál es el objetivo , no le veo lo practico ,sería como un enfriador de aceite de la transmisión , en ese caso sería externo , y no por dentro , ya que las vibraciones haría que la cañería se enredarse en la corona y los satélites , con mi experiencia en camiones , de alto tonelaje , para refrigerar el aceite , existe un sistema externo , con una bomba que hace sircular el aceite asta un radiador , en los camiones Volvo en caja de cambios exite un sistema asistido por refrigerante , que es parte del enfriamiento tanto del motor como de la caja de cambios.

Jeszcze kilkanaście lat temu, przerabiałem sześć takich dyferencjałów, w ciągu dniówki gdyż taką miałem wprawę. Oczywiście miałem dwóch pomocników którzy, montowali to w samochodzie. Gdzie już było wszystko zamontowane moja rola polegała na podłączeniu instalacji elektrycznej kompresor i sterowanie . W moim przypadku chodziło o land rovera. Najśmieszniejsze w tym wszystkim jest to iż uszczelnienia, odpowiadające za całą robotę, wyglądały, bardziej biednie niż obwódka z prezerwatywy. Ale nigdy nie zawiodły i robiły robotę na rajdach.
