Ok first of all, you have the most complete video on the Insight, thank you. Second, you cover the complete process, great video.

Thanks, I created it because I had a hard time finding information that related to the Insight.

Went through the exact same scenario this evening also with a 2010 Insight, using a Snap-On tablet from a neighbor, the final instruction from the tablet was to "DRIVE 28 MPH". I thought that was oddly specific, but sure enough as soon as I reached 28 mph, the flashing message cleared and everything is working perfectly. Great video by the way, you show the whole procedure so well.

You can't go wrong with the Autel TS508. One time, I did a TPMS sensor replacement (Autel MX 1-Sensor) and an OBD relearn on a third-gen Honda CR-V. Sometimes, in order to get the sensors to communicate, driving three to four blocks at speeds above 30 km/h (19 mph) certainly helps. Overall, you did an excellent job relearning these sensors.

I don't know how to say "Thank You" enough. After researching on this for way too long, I purchased the Autel TS508 and an MX sensor. I programmed the sensor, did the relearn and got rid of the TPMS Error light, but had the blinking/BEEPING Check Tire Pressure light that just wouldn't go away. I followed Autel's instructions to the T a few times and all sensors were green/good/etc. I noticed your extra level of detail towards the end where you ran into a similar issue and just added some air. I added some to one and let out a few pounds on the others and took it for a drive and at around the exact same distance of yours, my light /BEEEPING went away. I thought we were going to have to torch this car with that beeping, lol. Thank you again, awesome video, and Thank you for the extra level of detail.

Worked great ,order tool he used on Ebay. Followed instructions on a 2010 Civic , I had replace the OEM wheels with a set from another Civic and TMPS light was staying on. This procedure and tool care of it. Great, detailed Video!

Thanks so much. Even the repair manual doesn't tell you what to do when the light won't stop blinking. You surely saved my ass.

? .... Did it have to be a MX alltel sensor in that wheel or are can it program any brand of sensors ?

I was wondering if i bought this tool to program or copy signals. I found some oem sensors with the same part number as i need for my honda crv 2012. I was wondering if i can copy factory signal or relearn new sensors to make them work with my car. The sensors I found are on ebay and unbranded but have same oem part number I need. So will this work or not

will MaxiTPMS work on 2010 civic with honda honda sensor
@faridnabizade1417 Жыл бұрын
Hello friend, I also have Honda Insight. When I changed the tires on the car, the mechanic broke the sensor (rear, right). If I buy a single sensor and introduce it to the car with "MAXITPMS", do you think that error will disappear? Can I buy from any tpms sensor or should I buy only with the code of the tpms sensor that comes on the car itself?
@FernandoC Жыл бұрын
I don't really know if it would work for all of them. The sensor I bought was new from Ebay and it was the Redi Sensor VDO SE10002A. Depending on what year your insight is, it might be different, I'm not sure. If the mechanic broke the sensor, they should be able to fix it for you.

anyone know if you will fail inspection if that stupid tpms message is on?

The one that I got should work with a Honda Pilot 2008, but you should probably go to some Honda Pilot reddit page to read what people say.

I believe it's pretty standardized but you should look to see if there is a compatibility chart.

The video is great and very specific, I appreciate it that. But does anyone know what to do when the light just won’t stop blinking? I drove my 2009 Fit for over 10 mins at 19 MPH, then put some more air on the tires, tried again and the light didn’t stop blinking. I figured maybe I should drain all the air out of my tires and fill them back up to 33 PSI, drove it for 10 mins at 19 MPH and the light is still blinking. Any thoughts?

Did you figure out your blinking light?
@sistercalhoun4444 Жыл бұрын
between the door it might say one thing in my say.. 32 PSI... 33.PSI .But.Always put the air pressure at 35 PSI for all Hondas......
@delmarrathbone7092 Жыл бұрын
So you know Hondas better than Honda engineers? Always, always go by what the sticker on the door says for air pressure.
