Lock smith said my odb is not working so he couldn’t program it with the plug in computer he told me to follow this same process only thing is the security light will not turn off at 10 min mark should I just keep trying this 30 min process a few times

You will need someone with the correct equipment and information to make you a new key

If get a key copied just stick your key in turn to on position then turn off and then within 10 seconds stick the new key in and turn to on position then turn off. Then just start the car.
