Progressive tense in Dutch: aan het + infinitive | NT2 A2

I love the clarity of his speech. I could hardly call myself good at listening comprehension, but I can look away from the text and still understand what he is saying. Even so, I appreciate the text. It gives me a bit of extra support if I get confused on a word.

So if I’m trying to tell someone “I am learning Dutch” (if they try and switch to English) would that be a good time to use this tense?

Nice explanation. I see that this is also used in the structure: Subject + aan het + infinitive + object... rather than subject + everything else + aan het + infinitive. Should we assume that both are correct? Eg: Jij bent op mijn zus aan het wachten; of Jij bent aan het wachten op mijn zus
