Having said that we brought a 92 Miata (all original with daisy/minilite wheels) back to France from the UK on Sunday. 550 miles and top down all the way. As you say "Lights up, top down" 😉

Do you know the widest tire you can fit on those daisies? I'd like to use 205 65r14 but I'm hesitant. Haven't found any with wide tires on stock wheels.

Hmm. Good question. I’m not sure, but the wider you go, the taller the tire gets.

Pat Maher usually red or green Scotchbrite and degreaser like a Purple Power do the trick for me. Then a final wipe with Windex.
