Good job there! Not an easy task.

No mean task even if you know them inside out. Still easy to miss a little clip or bolt somewhere. Fantastic job doing it in such a quick time and the 3 little reveals don't count. I think you should find another gearbox, different model and have another blindfold challenge.

Good effort I would take twice as long without the mask...lol

I know that, officially, it's a no, no but I once swapped a magic wand diff housing onto a four syncro without any machining, they are pretty precision made and it all fitted together no problem and no leaks etc.

I've literally just finished rebuilding my 22g1128...... complete with remote, the biggest advantage is that it acts as an engine brace..... I'd be interested to know what internals you intend to fit, and ultimately what will be on top of it, which will obviously dictate what gears you use....

We're on the fence between our race synchro kit and dog box at the moment. Lots to decide!

1:20 When you say later Mini? Which one??I have a 22G1128 gearbox with remote with bolts from underneath and was fitted to a 62 mini with floor starter button btw. (Now thrown under the bench and not needed)
