Wow, that is a great head! Thanks for sharing your process. ^_^ I would love to see how those eyes are done. When you do that video, could you show a camera view from within the head itself? I have always been curious what it looks like through eyes like that, or is the view through the mouth?

Awesome tutorial! I'm doing my first ever head, which I decided to go with a resin base, and not a lot of tutorials are out there that show sewing pieces in (a lot of people just "blanket" a piece of fur over the head, glue it down, and trim to fit). Any other tips you could provide to a "newbie"?

The teeth and tongue are amazing. Did you sculpt and cast them? What materials did you use? Your work is AMAZING, thank you sooo much for these videos!!
@KazplayVideos2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yes I did sculpt and cast them. The teeth were resin, probably smooth cast 65D because that's what I used for the rest of the head. And I also mixed in urefil, the one that is micro bubbles to cut down on the weight. The tongue was dragon skin 10.

@KazplayVideos7 жыл бұрын
+Dinker27 I haven't tried fleece yet, but it would work just fine I imagine, you just need to have a really smooth base, or cover it with some quilt batting first if you want the fleece to lay smoothly

Awesome. Do you colour the fur, or is it sold that way with it shades darker nearest the skin? Is there a video of how you colour the fur darker near the nose/lips?
@KazplayVideos7 жыл бұрын
+Sergey Pokrovski the dark near the nose and eyes is airbrushed there. The fur is solid white then I use an airbursh and paint to shade the furs, adding shadows and contors as well as blending the nose and eyes better

Question! When you get to the edges to glue down, do you turn the fur under at the edge and glue? Or do you glue it flat then add tufts of fur that dont have a base? (If that makes any sense)
@KazplayVideos6 жыл бұрын
+Brittany Wolf yes! I do that in some instances, I don't bother if I know I am covering the edge, like using apoxie sculpt for the lips
