Really cool. I like it a lot. I always say if anything happens to my 07 classic Lbz ccsb id like to do something like this. But for now it’s a nice straight rust free body, until someday someone hits me or a tree lands on it haha

👍I think you are doing one heck of a job. Fabulous work and your ability to engineer in the fly. Only thought I have is if a little fixed window to fit the shape of the pillar between the doors was built in. I know you could do it with your abilities but build it how you like it.

@@chopshopart After looking at it again I think not as with the rear door having a vent I think it would be too much and as it is it somewhat matches post behind rear door. What ever you don’t will be great!

I call them a pain to remove, or GM’s way to keep people from touching them because they want you to bring back to the dealer and pay through the nose to fix it😂.

I think the 60 To 63 doors make excellent Crew because of the angle of the a&b pillars matching

These trucks have less wind noise than the 1964 - 1966. I have these in my collection . I have a 1961 C-60 a 1962 one ton a 1963 - 1960 married truck and a 1966 daily driver. The wind nosie in the 66 is much greater and to open the wing vent is much more noisy .

If you look at an old two cylinder John Deere, you will see those clutch head screws holding the gauge cluster in. I have a set of snap-on clutch head drivers in my box that I haven't used in many years. I doubt they still sell them, but you never know.
@stannitzel8397
@stannitzel8397 Жыл бұрын
You can order those clutch head driver's from any of the parts houses that sell parts for these trucks. LMC has them and also Classic Chevy.

Replace the door catches now to save you latter from doing them . Not many are in good shape from the years of use. Also order all new door locks with a matching key to fit all four doors.
