@@lyn607 Yeah I was thinking of the main story too, but then I remembered that was like 2-3 years before the present time when Kanade was still in middle school, thanks for reminding me of Mizuki too!

I don’t think Kanades dad will wake up and I don’t think Ena will get acknowledged. They do not need good things to happen to them to be emotionally strong, I think they should first figure out how to get by without needing those things. I’m not sure how to explain this but I hope I did well(?)

Anyways, technically, this is a pretty mainstream game for a big age range so I think everyone would get some kind of happy ending in one way or another, but the writers have done everything wonderfully well so far and I think the story is also heading in that direction where they would get their best endings in the most deserving way possible? Take Ena as an example, she is now putting more effort into drawing, trying to face people from the past and trying to be better and also find more enjoyment in the act of drawing, and not necessarily getting any achievements (for now).

We need to appreciate kanade more tbh, she def not underrated but compared to other 3 niigo members, i feel people just dismissing kanade's trauma and how emotionally strong she is. She's the leader of niigo for some reason.

Actually, I have a feeling that the writers are intentionally trying to draw focus away from Kanade's present struggles. All the Kanade focus events so far have either been mainly focused on her past, or on saving Mafuyu in the case of Immiscible Discord. There hasn't been any major change in her lifestyle or behaviour, unlike Mafuyu or Ena. The writers probably want us to get caught up in the others' problems and disregard Kanade's, because that's what she's doing to herself. (You could argue Mizuki also hasn't changed too much, but they're also trying to hide their problems from the others, and I do feel like they have made more progress in terms of character development than Kanade.) My guess is that after the other three are doing much better, something happens that puts Kanade in a really dark place, revealing just how unstable she's been the entire time - and this time it's up to the other three to save her. Sorry for the paragraph, I think about this a lot 😅

Kanade and Tsukasa are the only 2 “leaders” who feel like the w the leaders of their respective groups. Both groups have their leaders and their sub leaders (Rui and Mafuyu respectively). whereas for the other 3 it feels like they’re a “story leader” (a newbie you follow for more relatability), but not an actual group leader. Either cuz control seems more evenly split (VBS) or there’s someone more qualified for the role (Shiho or the rest of MMJ).

@@thecontrarysnivy this is very possible since before Mafuyu confronts her mom the last 3 events with N25 were a focus on each girl’s relationship with Mafuyu. It was about each of them encouraging the eventual confrontation. Ena encourages her to realize how unfair the treatment is, Mizuki told her it’s ok to leave, and Kanade establishes she’ll defend Mafuyu from her mother (and take her in). So them creating a narrative where they help each other over a period of time is something they’re willing to do. I think one of the things they’re building to is the fact Kanade is convinced a song will save Mafuyu. But in reality, from the start, all it was was her being by her side. When Mafuyu decides not to end her life, she focuses on Kanade telling her she’d stay with her until she’s “saved” and thanks Kanade for “finding her”. It was always about the companionship and the therapeutic art creation. Kanade will realize she can’t “save ppl” the way she thought, which will lead N25 to help her the way they helped Mafuyu.

UGH. Kanade saying she just wants her dad to praise her like he used to 😭 this event hurts me so much… seeing how Kanade was so full of love and energy and hope and sunshine as a child, her story is seriously tragic. She just wanted to make people happy with her talent for music. Now she can’t let herself think about her own needs, she can’t go outside and enjoy the sun and go to school with her friends and be a normal girl bc of everything that’s happened to her. And even now she doesn’t want to hope… I love her so much. I’m so sorry Kanade the world was cruel to you 🩷

people think kanade's dad is in a coma? cuz in past events we've seen him wake up and have full conversations with kanade, but the main problem is that it seems he can't remember her and can only remember up until before kanade was born. i'm surprised people don't know this.

@@_str4wb_I’m a whole month late but there’s Carnation Recollection. She visited her dad who was awake, but didn’t recognize her. When she told him her name is Kanade, he said he and his wife were expecting a girl and would name her Kanade also.

I don’t know I’m just thinking that because mafuyu has kinda of had a vital role in kanades part of wanting to save people, and she like acknowledges that mafuyu soon has to go back to her mother that mistreated her and her father that… well… idk… much like i get he’s polite and all because of how he was introduced but like i feel like i still don’t know too much into his character since he only first appeared then in mafuyus story from before in parts and it’s just been progression with mafuyu and kanade ever since it kinda takes me back to the Someday From the Depths of Despair event with Kanade and Mafuyu talking about the parallels of kanade wanting to save mafuyu and Mafuyu wanting to be saved by Kanade.*

Mafuyu’s dad showed up mostly to parrot Mafumom’s talk. Like telling her to study, but in a less “I know you can do it” (pressure) and more “here’s some stuff that can help” (nicer). But he’s had no role in raising it her it seems and is fairly absent. It seems implied the mother works (tho I can’t be sure) so he might’ve left raising entirely to Mafuyu’s mom (along with work and household chores). and checked out, which was neglectful.:

He does wake up. But he suffers from amnesia. His memories are 'reverted' back to when he didn't have Kanade and his wife was still pregnant. (Carnation Recollection)
