Mafuyu's family situation/dynamic reminds me of Amity's from the Owl House. The mother was in total control of the daughter's life, not giving a care about how she (the daughter) felt about it, even resorting to dirty tricks to make sure she stays on the path she (the mother) chose for her. But the father had no idea what was going on, and comforted the daughter when he realized how she was really feeling.

This is the reason why Mafuyu's event stories are arguably most awaited from us. This story is my favorite so far, and the fact this event story available after the last one when Mafuyu enjoying her school field trip makes it even better or tragic.

it's already a yr and this event is finally on en. this story really takes the top spot for me bc personally, i relate to mafuyu a lot - like a LOT lot. ive been trying to meet my parents' expectations all my life that im practically a "yes, maam/sir" person for them. i think mafuyu is lucky to have n25 beside her, as well as the virtual singers, bc just when she decides to let her mother control her again, kaito and miku snaps her out of it. im rooting for mafuyu from the very bottom of my heart bc if she manages to escape from the shackles of her mother, it'll make me really happy as i know that she did everything that she could to be herself again. very much unlike me, who is one year away from graduating with a course i dont even like one bit but decided to get bc it's what my parents want.
