​@@GameFuMaster No Man's Sky, Deathloop, Warframe, Last of Us(1&2) come to mind for trying to do some new things. This literally looks like reskinned Splinter Cell. The gameplay may be stellar but it's certainly lacking in the imagination dept.

@@Greene-li9oc the gameplay is what matters. No Man's Sky's only real feat was planetary enters and exits. Otherwise, it's just another Space Game. Deathloop, gameplay was basically a roguelite, there wasn't really anything magical about it to me. Warframe is just a third person looter shooter, not sure what specifically makes it mechanically new. Last of Us I really enjoyed because the enemies weren't bullet sponges and every shot felt like it mattered. But it's really just Uncharted with better combat. So what "new" things did these games really add?

The level design has such a dense atmosphere, with no music and the ambience of the wind. Give the rooms more live. Phone ringing, rain outside and small details like that. And i am sold.

Ever wonder why game characters always carry rifles on their backs? Sure, it looks cool, but it doesn’t seem realistic. Why not have the rifle drop to the side of the character? It’d make more sense and look more natural. Having it on the back just feels weird. Aside from that the game looks amazing reminds me of Ghost Recon: Breaking point

I hear you. Just a thought-improvements are always good. Small changes can really make a big difference in the game experience. The mechanics in this one remind me of Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. Keep in mind, military folks play and review these games too.

@@emmanueladebiyi9386 I think the problem the fact that if they tried to make the carrying look perfectly like real life, it'd break the immersion if it ended up noticeably worse. Soldiers that have weapons on slings/straps means more physics simulations for how it hangs or collides with the body. There's that one part where the guy is ducked behind the chest high wall and the riffle clips through the cover, make it too real and you have to make that gun make noise on the collision or calculate how it moves against it. That's months of extra work for something that technically shouldn't matter to the gameplay loop or might need to be removed because it breaks the game.

Slinging a rifle on your back is a pretty normal way to carry. There are different slings with different use cases, such as hanging to the side or down the front. While those are definitely better suited for quick access, they aren't great for fast movement, as the tend to swing around if you're not holding on to them. There are some hybrids as well, such as one that slings on to your back, but unhooking a clasp lets it hang down to your side.

He is not in a martial arts setting which is refreshing I was on reddit and they had a Japanese developer was in the discussion. Well it turns out the reason why you do not get games like metal gear solid with and east Asian looking guy as the hero. It is because the idea of a east Asian saving the world James bond style is unrealistic it would not sell.
