Would you recomend a Pedersen mill for a hobby shop?

It much depend on the model. 😊 The old models lack some travel in Z (between table and vertical head) as they were horizontal mills fitted with a vertical head for more modern use. The newer ones, were fitted with a motoriset boom, where motor and gearbox were all in the top. And could therefore be moved in Y (not with feed, but manually) this makes them more versatile, and has greater space between table and spindle. But for a hobby shop, a Bridgeport style would be way better. And more versatile
