I just remembered those last lines,🤧😇 when my grandfather used to read such sutras and translated for us. It was a time when after lunch in village we used to sit in a room and my "dadu" used to read such books in a very good tone and then explain us. Yes...! Vedas have the knowledge human kind can rely on for long lasting peace. Actually the real change came with the British, the Mughals were more interested in ruling or spreading Islam than taking over Indian education. The education system in the sub continent today is a product of colonization. I mean south India was not invaded for 1000 years, Mughals got access to it after Akbar (not even whole of it). Yet they have the same Western influence. Its colonization, don't band wagon all the invaders together (I mean they didn't attack your beliefs like the British so why blame them?)

A friend told me 30 years ago that he had heard a story that when MMY decided to teach TM teachers to practice an English translation of Patanjali's Flying Sutra, MMY spent time with current (c.1979) Shankaracharya of Jyotir Math, and worked it out with him, based on Viaseshika Sutras. This video has made that (apocraphyl, sure) story about 10x more facinating!!!!!!!! It is a very beautiful series of English words. I have always wondered why we didn't learn those sutras in Sanskrit??????? This video has started me wondering again.

@@stockmarketpositivity7186 It can be translated, it just takes more words to convey the meaning, and in modern day its not a problem, 5000 years age there is no other way but to transmit the information orally, so Sanskrit's slokas is the best way for that, but in modern days it doesn't need to be a slokas, it can still be in Sanskrit but it should be in more modern day user friendly way, and our ancestors understand that that's why we have countless dramas and artworks on Mahabharata, Ramayana and others. For example take Aryabhatiya (and other texts), it contains so much information about how our ancestor seems to look at the world in way of Science and Math but almost nobody in India can access that without learning Sanskrit, the only translation I can find online is by some English dude that was in English(obviously), and its horrible, the book is just full of criticism and assumptions and was written to prove the world why Greek mathematician at that time was superior to Indians. I mean it a shame. My point is not to dumbing down but we need to modernize the Sanskrit (and all the knowledge in it) in accordance to the modern time, Sanskrit has all the qualities to became a modern language along with some other Indian languages but if we don't took that effect we might not be able to review our old languages.

Anger that invaluable Vedic knowledge was suppressed by Colonists, foreign invaders and by foolish leaders/educators after Independence. A sense of wonder/amazement by knowing about Atomic Theory in Vaiseshik Sutra. Wow ! Great video!! A point I want to make is that “Anu” is not “atom”. It’s more like localisation of existence in space and time. It’s that which gives physical existence to the reality. It’s got 3 gunas or qualities - raja, tama and satwa. They represent movement, stability and potential, which In a way represents subatomic particles’ nature - electron, neutron and proton. The Anu is not entirely physical but more like a quantum collapse of a wave function.

One clarification: The Vedas do not have the what we think of as a 'god'. The Abrahamic 'God' is the name of their deity. Which is why the word is capitalized. It talks about the paramatma which means 'supreme consciousness', which is quite different from the concept of a deity. Although we represented certain concepts as Murthys and certain personification. This was done with the understanding that incomprehensible and formless things and ideas must be given forms in order to be understood by the uninitiated. Western deities have personalities, likes and preferences, essential egos. Which cannot be attached with the idea of Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu.
