Question of the Day: What are your thoughts on Fanatec's new V2 Handbrake? As you all know, I don’t do reviews on the channel, but since I know many of you will ask, here’s my take: In my opinion, this handbrake feels fantastic and is a great upgrade over the V1.5! I had the CSL DD 8Nm for a while, and it's a great wheelbase 😉 As for the V2 handbrake, I love it so far👍😊

After watching this i got an idea. simracing with real world meeting with real characters/person it's like forza horizon but in citytrip and racing like gt7/ac acc raceroom iracing automobilista 2. example if you want to race in germany you Must travel like in eurotruck 2 to that circuit hockenheimring or nurnbergring afterwards go back to monza imola spa like in eurotruck and race there. I think need for speed has this a bit

With Fanatec’s shifter would you recommend? As I have heard people having issues with mid shifting and electro magnetic interference.

Definitely this one fanatec.com/eu-en/shifters-others/clubsport-shifter-sq-v-1.5?number=CSS_SQ&FAP+Banner&General+Links&a_aid=642e93a817bf2 I never had any problems with mine. And those that did have problems with interference, most of them got it working by just removing the shifter from the rig and running a calibration😉 Most of the, it's all the electronics on the rig that's causing that problem.

Hi mate! As you already know, I'm a big fan of the Sim-Lab handbrake, but I have to say, this one has definitely won me over 😆. It doesn’t feel like an everyday car handbrake-though to be fair, none of the loadcell handbrakes do. It’s much closer to the feel of a rally car handbrake, which is exactly what I was hoping for 😉 So I like it, a lot! But I recommend you watch some reviews😊

@ Before this, I had the Fanatec v1.5, and it worked perfectly for me until it started to wobble. I constantly had to take it apart and tighten it. 🔧 At the time, I was looking for an alternative, but the Fanatec v2 hadn’t been announced yet. So, in terms of price and quality, there weren’t many options, which is why I went with the XB1. 🤷‍♂️ On the bright side, at least now I have something to compare it to! 😅 Also, the SimLab doesn’t work with the PS5. 🎮 I prefer to stick to a single ecosystem, and Fanatec fits that perfectly. 👍

It’s great that you’ve had the chance to compare, it gives you a better idea of what suits your setup. Fingers crossed the V2 lives up to your expectations and gives you exactly what you’re looking for😊 I only had it for a couple of days, but like I've said, I really love it🙌
