I´m loving this stuff. Sim games are getting so impressive these days. The modeling, rendering and lighting give such a sense of place, even a little scary on the road. Window reflections are great too. I got to say, the hills and landscape, terrain, especially out past the stalled big rig, have some similarity to Washington State, the Okanagan area and Palouse in Central Washington. The hilltops here are more northwest tall pines and fir plus small towns in the USA, but the open areas have a similar sense of being on the road in that drier environment. A lot the same, surprisingly. Looks like a pretty cool game set up too. Great video.

Little advice as a truck driver myself. Know your rig's turning circle limit and let the front out more in order to miss those kurbs 😉 Steering wheel movemens felt sometimes too early and too gradual. I love your setup. I had to watch very carefully the line where reality ends and screen starts. Good job.

PSR! I wanted to inform you that I'm working with someone to create an adapter to run the MFS on a Fanatec wheel base. The first prototype has already been printed and it came out great! It will also have auto cancelling too. It will require an extended shaft for it to work however but I'm super excited and wanted to let you know!

I have often thought about how interestingly good this game looks when filmed by a cam. I wonder why? Something definitely looks different. Or maybe you have graphics mods as well? Imagine this with some wind in the trees, making the branches wobble rapidly and become filled with more life. It feels like this game could be easily be made to look much better. Love ETS2 and it's insane how much it has grown and lately started to evolve.

It’s a mix of things! I’m using a graphics mod, plus I make sure my GoPro and OLED TVs are set to look as natural as possible. I also tone down the saturation a bit in post-editing. And I totally agree, this game is like a fine wine, it just keeps getting better with time!

That being said, that gearbox feels great. The lights that mark the truck's revolutions when you have to change gear. I hope to see many more videos of your setup in ETS2.

Aren't you using a graphics mod or reshade or some other lighting mod or did you do this in the video editor? Can not think the game looks like this out of the box.

I did use a graphics weather mod. You can find it in the description 😊
