Glad to have found your channel. I bought a Promaster 2500 yesterday and am planning the work to build it up. My fellow retired fireman is game to help. #peace.

Glad I found your channel and watched this video. Disappointed in the condition of the rack for that much money. In Florida, all those chips would lead to corrosion in no time. Nice work on the van.

He sold his build when he moved to Boston... he has a large motor home now that he likes to travel around in

"soft water" 😂 awesome. Was that rubber gasketing you mentioned sold on a roll? Self adhesive backing, or did it need to be glued down? thanks so much for the video!
@OregonBatman2 жыл бұрын
Howdy! Gasket came on a roll about 1-1/4" wide, adhesive on the back. Should help the tank from slipping around on the hard floor

Looks good man and thanks for the tip. Do you get any whistling or buffeting at or around highway speed?
@OregonBatman Жыл бұрын
Not a sound... actually quieted things down a bit. The wind used to make the vent covers rattle a bit, but since installing the rack, that went away. Quiet ride

Roof rack looks good, but you would think for what it costs that it would not arrive with scuffs and metal shavings scattered about!
@OregonBatman2 жыл бұрын
True that! But... all in all, happy with the rack!

Do you have a video of your solar panels? What kind of panels did you get?
@OregonBatman Жыл бұрын
Hey @timrodatz1274 ! I don't have a video specifically of the solar panels... although I do mention them here kzbin.info/www/bejne/iKm7ZWusaNeDhrM The solar panel are from Renogy. 100 watt solar panels each (400 watt total). I cannot say enough about these panel so far! I just returned from a week long trip to Yellowstone National Park and these panels kept up with my usage! Totally charged my batteries to 100% during the day (sunny of course). Highly recommend!

@@OregonBatman dang that's good, I'm wanting AC maybe gas stove like you got, couple other normal electronics I was told to get 800watts at lease I don't know.

@@OregonBatman so the panels are good the rest not that great huh lol. I thought about SOK 280 or LtTime 230 3 batteries of some kind hahaha. Trying to learn this solar system stuff

@@timrodatz1274 Took me 4-ever to figure out what I wanted... I went with Bigbattery.com. I have two of the Owl Max and have been running for two years straight wth 400 watts solar. Can run all my lights, water pump, refigerator, and Propex heater, plus AC inverter... and a full day of sun tops it off at 100%. Was off grid for the last week and never short of power!
