Al, as a builder like you, I watch ALL your videos from the beginning to the end: from cold Canada, I wouldn't be able to work on a van or caravan project, at such temperature!
@OregonBatman2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch the videos all the way through! Although the temperatures sound high, it's actually not too bad once you start working. I generally wait until later in the day when it starts to cool off. If it weren't for the cooler breeze blowing through, I admit... it would be tough! :)

Just a thought Al, at the end of the tank where you plan on putting a drain valve and vent, you could tie them together and make a site glass on the outside of the future bulkhead so you can visually see the water level in the tank.

Excellent idea, and something I will plan on doing for sure!

Good lookin work, I'm with you this heat is no joke this year. It's what has been keeping me from getting any real work done on mine
@renoflames2 жыл бұрын
Very good build I like it. It needs a Generator and A/C. You do very good work. Where I live 8 or 9 Months out of the year ya need A/C..
@OregonBatman2 жыл бұрын
Thought about adding that... running out of room though, so would definitely have to be something installed on the outside. Would make life much more comfortable for sure! Thanks Reno!

Would it be better to use one of the fittings on the back of the tank for the water inlet then running a hose all the way to the front? I really enjoy your videos, thank you for putting them up for us to watch.
@OregonBatman2 жыл бұрын
Typically, yes... but I won't have that much room in the back for the fitting, so I decided on front inlet.

Wow! Commitment to getting your videos out regardless of the conditions (103??). I would have waited until later…like October…

LOL! Actually, trying to get this to a stage that I can actually use it before summer is over! :)

Lovin' this project just like all your others!!! I did want to ask though, are you planning any type of filtration for your water, can't be too careful these days...
@OregonBatman2 жыл бұрын
I do plan on a filtration system soon... once I figure out the best setup. Thanks for checking it out!

Any plans to install a portable air-conditioner in there for when the engine isn't running?

There was one unit I was really interested in that I thought would work great... unfortunately, sold out, with no ETA for restock. If I find the right unit, great possibility I'll have A/C

Nice job, my water pump makes a ot of noise, yours seemed pretty quite. Maybe because of using the flex pipe on it?
@OregonBatman2 жыл бұрын
It is super quiet. I thought it would make a lot of noise but was surprised how silent it is. Have to get me another one of these! :)

@OregonBatman2 жыл бұрын
Hi Darrin! Thanks for checking out the videos... I purchased the Filon from Affordable RVing in Portland Oregon. You can also find it on Ebay, I believe they also sell it there

Al, could you tell me the make and model and gallons of the tank you are using. It appears to be an over the wheel well style. Thanks
@OregonBatman2 жыл бұрын
Hello Ed. I purchased the tank from Northwest Converions. Model PM-C-28 for $349.00. Here is the link: www.nwconversions.com/product/28-gallon-wheel-well-water-tank-pm-c-28/

@@OregonBatman Al, didn't you have a different tank to install before this wheel well tank? If so, why did you change? Thanks
@OregonBatman2 жыл бұрын
I had different tanks that I thought I would use for gray water tank under sink... changed my mind on those. Always planned on the wheel well tank, couldn't beat that!
