I was lucky to get that Super Mario All-Stars collection with Super Mario World fairly cheap about 1997. I've got the manual too, but the box is now pretty beat up. Gradius III is in nice condition there. Price Charting is in dollars, so I think you overestimated the values there.

As a kid I would carefully unwrap a new game as they were really expensive so most of my games still have the original cellophane around them most likely with the Nintendo tear tear off bit inside the box. It something that kids aren't going to get to enjoy with most things being downloaded or streamed.

Still play Parodius on my portable emulator console and still have trouble getting past the second level boss, always getting stepped on. Nice to see people still supporting retro physical media 👍

Wow, I have a story about Whizz Kids in Sheffield! Back when the PlayStation was first released I traded in my mint boxed SNES and 10 CIB games for £200 off the new PlayStation. An amazing Christmas playing Tekken at home! However two of those games I traded in....Sunset Riders and R-Type 3! I've spent years regretting trading those and trying to re acquire them for my collection again. That could be my very R-Type 3 I traded in all those years ago! Bittersweet memories!😢

Some cracking games there 👍 tip for sticker removal is lighter fluid. Works a treat, leaves no residue as it evaporates and does not damage the box or artwork 😁

try using a hair dryer to melt the glue on the sticker to remove it then some white spirit to wipe the glue residue off after.

I have the super mario all stars mario world cart bought it from a friend. Also have super retype bought it loose from a shop where they wrote the game name on the top in marker.

The plastic insert looks to be authentic, a few releases had these instead of the standard cardboard. Secret of Mana was probably the most well know release that had these. Please don't discard it! :D

Whizz Kids is one of the former names of Super Retro Video Games, the one that you did a visit to in Sheffield not too long ago. It was certainly called that at some point back in the 90s.

Gemma, not sure if you are aware but as you were checking Price Charting you had your currency filter set to USD, but you kept reading them as if they were GBP... I know you're not too concerned about value and profit, but your numbers are off based on the currency you were viewing.

Nice games. I'm showing my age, but the words: "Whiz kids" always brings the 80's TV series in my mind :D One of the actors in it was Matthew Laborteaux, who's probably more well known from Little House on the Prairie TV-series. Funny those Honda Civic or Integra Type-R parts in the R-Type search results :D

Super R Type is an awesome pick up. Whizz Kids is a charity that provides equipment for disabled children by the way. I got my original purple GameBoy Colour from there in 1999. Still have it in my collection and play on it regularly😊Great video as always Gemma

Parodius is my favourite game in that pile. Konami at its best. I have all 3 parodius games. You got a good deal.

@@TheGebs24 Please give your audience a 15 min playthough of Parodius. Not only is it one of the most beautiful SNES games, it uses a special Konami chip, the music is bonkers and its quite entertaining even if your dying. Its complete and utter bonkers. Saturn version is best, but only slightly. PS1 version has mid level loading and a few cuts on moving sprites, whilst the Saturn version is seamless (no loading mid level) and throws a lot more at you, but you can control this with the difficulty level but lowering the difficulty a notch. I know you don't like shooters, but as far as shooters go Parodious is entry level and really good fun for everyone.
