Ever since our country went off the gold standard, and the Fed and the government figured out, they could print, essentially unlimited dollars to fund all of their unwarranted spending we have been on a trajectory toward economic collapse. And since failure doesn't seem to be an option anymore when it comes to business or economic policy this is proof we are headed towards a worst case scenario.

I think a small amount of UBI would be great, and really helps people at the bottom. Andrew Yang wanted to give everyone $1000 per month, but the people were evil in their hearts and didn't vote for him. Tell me now, after giving away 100 billion to Ukraine and Israel that we couldn't afford it. Yeah, we're getting what we deserve.

In light of the ongoing global economic crisis, it is crucial for everyone to prioritize investing in diverse sources of income that are not reliant on the government. This includes exploring opportunities in stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies. Despite the challenging economic situation, it remains a favorable time to consider these investments.

The pathway to substantial returns doesn't solely rely on stocks with significant movements. Instead, it revolves around effectively managing risk relative to reward. By appropriately sizing your positions and capitalizing on your advantage repeatedly, you can progressively work towards achieving your financial goals. This principle applies across various investment approaches, whether it be long-term investing or day trading.

Even with the right strategies and appropriate assets, investment returns can differ among investors. Recognizing the vital role of experience in investment success is crucial. Personally, I understood this significance and sought guidance from a market analyst, significantly growing my account to nearly a million. Strategically withdrawing profits just before the market correction, I'm now seizing buying opportunities once again.

Reminds me of what I learned from our family counselor when I dearly wanted to save my oldest son from himself and his destructive behavior! The counselor looked at me and said: “Let that kid experience the consequences of his behavior! Let him fail!” It was a difficult decision, it hurt me spiritually, but I decided to take the counselors advice! I cut him off and sent him packing! As a parting gift I arranged a tour of the local County Jail. The Sheriff explained about violence in the jail and my son asked what happened to the guys responsible for the violence. The jailer looked at the kid and said: “If it happens and we don’t see it happen, then it never happened!” You could literally see his jaw drop! After experiencing the consequences of his behavior he got back in College and today is a successful man! It’s a shame some of our politicians don’t have to experience the consequences of the stupidity!

Not true at all. Trump gave massive tax breaks to billionaires and corporations. Btw, he benefitted because he is incorporated and a billionaire. He also cut funding to the IRS. He paid no fed taxes for a decade, was found guilty of fin fraud, has been under audit for over 12 yrs so of course he doesn't want accountability. Meanwhile Biden wants billionaires to pay the same tax rate as you and I. He wants to have student loan forgiveness for jobs like teachers, otherwise there will be no teachers. It will take a lifetime to pay off your student loans if you're a social worker, or educator. So who would you rather have the money go to. The people who educate your kids? Or the billionaires who pay 8% in taxes.

It sickens me how leadership is forgiving student loans and allowing retail theft in the name of (cough) "compassion." They (leadership) are instilling learned helplessness (lack of responsibility), criminal behavior (lack of accountability) and entitlement mentality. One doesn't have to be a Psychologist to know the fallout of this will be devastating. Chaos and/or anarchy will ensue as hordes of adult children take to the streets and lash out, stealing, inflicting harm and destroying property because they lack the inner moral and ethical compasses to monitor their own behavior.

As an Army vet, 2001-2011... I don't believe anyone deserves a bail out / hand out. We got paid to do a job, a little more dangerous than most...but paid nonetheless. Some of us were smart with our money, and others squandered every penny they earned. I was lucky, saved up 100k and put a down on my house. I believe we deserve free healthcare for life, majority of us are broken one way or another. Body beat down, or mentally distressed. VA definitely needs work. Maybe some type of retirement for an amount of years...not just for the 20+ years. Either way, to all my fellow veterans out there...Thank you for your service!

@vickijohnson9367 24 күн бұрын
Remember this, when you are a elderly veteran, who’s service overlaps with declared war (hard to avoid that), go to the VA to get free medicine AND, if you are eligible for free medicine, you are impoverished, just on Social Security, so EVERY VETERAN WHO IS ELDERLY AND IMPOVERISHED, WHERE SERVICE OVERLAPS WITH DECLARED WAR HAS A VA AID AND ATTENDANCE PENSION AVAILABLE TO THEM! It comes in 3 levels, security it’s at least $1,000 extra a month, added to social security, it’s a life saver! Neither the military or VA will tell the Veteran he is entitled to this, so remember this, and pass the information on! (Expect them to be tricky, mishandling the application etc. You can provide information to your U.S. Senator in writing, asking the Senator to “investigate the mishandling”. That moves the ball past the goal post.

Yup, inflation Likely 12-15% (a year) if the truth be told last 3 years. This is the cost of spending more than twice what the wealthiest country in the world takes in taxes. The person that was supposed to help us is the current senile President. Meantime the CEO of Countrywide got away with $500M in stocks and die in Hawaii not to long ago. Nobody that was guilty of the ‘Housing Crisis’ of 2008 was ever charge with a crime. So please let me know where am I going wrong. Enough is enough of these bailout, whats next the auto industry. The housing thing is by design. Corporations want you to rent a house from them so they can control the market and set the prices. They been doing this now for 20 years. They buy up blocks than the set the market price for rent in those 40 homes they own. Than make a fake company to buy 40 more homes. Some Heggfund. They want to make very thing you rent it and not own it even computers Microsoft is pushing the BS too. The Video game industry is doing it too wants to go all digital so you rent it. Not own it. They can't stop you from putting a disc in your machine and play it. But they sure as hell can update there hardware and lock your digital game.

I see all around us all of the student loan bailouts, extra veterans benefits, the huge child tax credits, Earned income credit, free healthcare for the poor and many other programs I probably don’t know about. In our state you make out if you are poor and have children. I know of a couple where her husband doesn’t work because between all of the government orograms he makes close to 75,000 a year! As someone who took on substantial student loan debt to get my bachelor's degree years ago, I do not agree with any student loan debt forgiveness by the government. It took time, but I paid my loan back in full. Students are old enough to know (or should know individually or with parent guidance) that loans have to be re-paid. This is one of life's fundamental financial truths. It's not fair to millions of past students like me who paid their loans off with no assistance to have the government arbitrarily (or not arbitrarily-it's an election year...) pay off the debts of other students.
