I feel like the people who are claiming that this game is "stealing" from Dead by Daylight and Prop Hunt are the same people that b*tch about Fortnite. As far as DbD, you have Friday the 13th and White Noise as other games that use the same basic formula. For Prop Hunt you have OBJ Hunt and Modern Warfare Remastered's Prop Hunt mode. But no, this is where it crosses the line, THIS is when it gets to plagiarism levels.

I dont understand the spooky killers in this game, why not just totally normal everyday people lmao. Like some cyber goth killer, or like a evil butler, etc. Not the like DBD style killers but just random "villanous" characters. Just feels kind of off with evil murderous granny and hypno-chair lmao. Also if this was a public DBD lobby whew, the amount of toxic salt that woulda came from platy tunnelling jeremy like that in cornfields lmao. I couldnt imagine it :P

Probably because of the Goosebumps meta on adolescents dealing with ‘literal’ monsters, and totally normal everyday people not really having the same excuse on abilities that monsters have. Granted, the players turn into literal copies of environmental objects, but that comes with the ‘limit’ of not being able to weaponize each other. Something like that.

No, they just followed a trend and put a spin on it. Would you say that OBJ Hunt is plagiarizing Prop Hunt, or any of the Prop Hunt game modes in other games? Much like the Battle Royale, this is "Prop Hunt but..." If the game is good, then they've improved upon the original. I certainly don't see Prop Hunt props bouncing around the screen with full physics, more like sliding around as static objects that spin with your camera.
