I think it was far more stressful for Adam: he knew he was right, but no one believed him. He figured out what was going on extremely fast. Obviously he was maddeningly frustrated that no one believed what he was saying about Carley. Had they actually trusted/listened to him, things wouldn’t have been as drawn out for as long as they were.

I especially like the time he was the demon and bluffed as the clock maker. Just something you might be interested in. Apple actually had to change its randomise algorithm because humans have the tendency to find patterns in true randomness. Normally a truly random shuffle algorithm would often lump together songs of the same artist or similar styles etc and people felt this was not random. So apple had to change it to something the human mind recognised as random such that there were always different artists one after another

Huge props to Adam. I was worried galaxy brain Carley was going to just use their feud to play the whole town (even though she was very loudly broadcasting "I am the Demon" with all of her plays like pushing for Zombuul world). I was really impressed when he didn't tell Laurie he was Shab (or say a false Demon). I would've buckled and just said what I was and Laurie would've likely just played right off that and I'd have to discover it by picking targets (which, let's be real, almost everyone will choose Carley first and immediately find out they're the lunatic anyways). It's funny how nobody noticed/remembered that both obvious (by final 3) Minions were voting to save Carley the previous day. Reasons why the Butler is a legitimate character (sorry haters) and you should learn the value of paying attention to voting patterns. I would almost argue Brooke was an obvious Minion for a while, since she was silent and early detected as "not Demon". I felt bad for Brooke that game because she 100% needed her Demon's support. Assassin is not an easy one to just wing it. You either plan or you get lucky, and BMR is very much a game where both teams need to silently plan things in whispers. The only way good team can win (unless by sheer luck) is coordinating their information and not letting evil know it. The only way evil can win (again, unless by sheer luck) is to coordinate whispers to at least come up with a plan. Each side should be silently scheming and it's part of why I love BMR (probably more than S&V). The one play I had as Professor was similar to Dom's, so I feel for him. I had this great plan all lined up, but random chance said no. I didn't even get to add to discussion because my reveal was just shrugged off by town.

This is such a great series - only played the first version at a Con, but super fun to see the other iterations. Having a smart solid storyteller to keep that balance is so key and you two kill it every time.

That was an amazing game. I knew when Adam ended up figuring out he was a lunatic and I was thinking "Oh my, he's found out! He's found out!" And that rant he had to Tom & Ben was amazing. There was times I thought the evil team had won and was gutted but then, for some reason, Carley didn't kill both the good players in the night (maybe it's because she thought someone would've been regurgitated and the game would continue anyway) and they had a second chance. That was an amazing game.

@@Mullibok Like they said in the video, they were torn on whether to do it or not - with the general narrative being "Jon or Carley", if Carley killed Jon, bringing back Angela or Dom would have pretty much handed the game to good, where not bringing someone back would have let evil win. At that point, Tom and Ben would have been kingmakers, and the big question would have been whether evil had earned the win at that point. Unless, of course, they thought it was possible that Carley could have turned the game around and discredited Elliot's confirmed Exorcist reads on the other two potential suspects. Of course, if Brooke wanted to run her Exorcist bluff, she could have spoken up to get Jon executed arguing that she could Exorcise Carley to prevent any kills that last night and they could then execute Carley the next day.

@@rmsgrey yeah, tying up the vote to save Carly made that victory feel deserved for evil imo. It was so close and clutch and Ben even said it would be over if they got it wrong that day. So this felt a little bit like a rob to me. Or Carly meta-ing herself out of a win thinking they wouldn't side with her.
