Yeah plan to keep it "cream sand" the original Datsun colour, it's grown on me!

I like the colour it look's great i'd keep it stock like that. Just something about it. Looks so cool with those wheels too. It's looking the part even in the condition it's in it looks great for it's age!

😎 When you take off the driver's side door it'll be the best time to practice auto body Skills. There is a tool you can buy Or borrow that melts hot nails to the outside of the door and then you use a slide hammer to pull out the Dents out Or. You can just Bang them out from the inside after removing the inside door panel. After that, if there are any low spots, fill with bondo And then sand until flat. Buy a cheap spray gun and spray the door you can get the paint matched at auto Paint store. You can put on that replacement door in the meantime, and you don't have to change the lock. You'll just have 2 different keys for the doors. The Ignition key should be separate right? So you just need to carry 3 keys on you in the meantime, a separate key for the passenger door If not, no need for the passenger door key because you can open it for guests that wanna ride with you from the inside. Just a suggestion. good luck 👍

oh i will have to change the lock buddy, the replacement door was chemical dipped, there is nothing in it at all anymore and all locks were removed and binned off when the old datsun got scrapped! but good point r.e practicing body work on the current door, i might do that, would be a fun learning curve for sure
