If you already have tendencies of a posterior pelvic tilt, should you still try to maximally contract the muscles which promote posterior tilt?

We’re a more fitted shirt or tank would allow the abdominal movement.

I feel my lower back being engaged during this exercise. Is that normal?

It's normal but not optimal. The lower back should not be fatiguing during any of these exercises. But instead TVA and Thoracic area.

What if this is still too difficult? I cannot get rid of the kyphosis in my mid to upper back. Is there a modification for the knee plank?

Do the wall retraction more. Really focus on holding your bellybutton in tight while breathing.
