Very interesting Looking at these properties….the first one, the dogs would drive me mad barking, but guess you get that everywhere. Plus I don’t want to renovate anything , which of course is a problem , as most of the properties in our price range need renovating..🤣the Casa d’Alte for €575,000 looks lovely and I am sure it’s stunning but if I was spending that much money I would definitely want to be able to park my car.! I went to Salir the other day and thought that was also very pretty….

Prices have drastically risen in 3 years of us being here, a lot of people from outside Portugal want to live here and there’s not the houses available so the house prices have shot up.

I so glad we bought our house 4 years ago or we wouldn’t be able to have bought anything . Prices here have shot up mainly because a lot of people from abroad are investing. It’s not just the Algarve either it’s all of portugal 🌞

1. First house is junk. 2. Second house more junk. 3. Third house too expensive did not show inside. 4. Maybe OK. 5. Maybe Ok. Last property may be ok. Can't hear a thing. The conclusion is the sellers are not realistic when pricing their properties.

Yes I totally understand it’s hard knowing what’s the right thing to do ….but a lot of Americans,Belgium , Germans are coming over and driving the house prices up still so it might take a year or so for the prices to start to drop ….on this video 3 houses have now been sold one by my friend , the other two another friend has bought who already lives here.

Dog owners in Portugal need to be prosecuted. It is an European law to keep yr dogs quiet but they don't do it and also keep them tied up

100% agree with you it breaks my heart one of our neighbours has a dog tied up 24/7 obviously when I go past it goes crazy but maybe if I could befriend it ….the only thing is I’d be stepping onto his land. 😬

It has a natural waterfall and the Fontes are stunning …. It’s also a pretty traditional Portuguese village 🌞

A little story behind that Cynthia we had already filmed the house at €95,000 and the post office but the clip got lost ….after filming we went for lunch ….the camera man (my husband) when we got home I was editing the film and he fell asleep…realising we didn’t have those properties I woke him from his ‘nana nap’ that’s why he sounds like Darth Vada he’s still half asleep…..point taken though we are new to this and learning all the time 🥰
