We are back here again after several visits across this part of Penang, and it's seriously building up. Ever since the initial visit, Starbucks is in operation, McDonald's is in construction, there has been way more shops being open in Vervea commercial center, and the crowds in Design Village Outlet are just insane. It's just very encouraging to witness all these building up this new location.
Anggun Residences is somewhat a part 2 of the Design Village Outlet, where it's a residence built adjacent to it. Therefore, it's gonna be very convenient for residents in the future. Personally, the details around this development feels fresh to me. Many of the design treatments are pretty uncommon yet sensible. For eg the maximization of the layout where built-ups are extended all the way to boundary lines, flat-slab structural system applied in residential units, that open space design across the dining up to the yard and etc.
However, many are not familiar with this developer as they are from East Malaysia. Hence I think the Design Village Outlet is a good move for them as customers can somewhat guestimate the final product. But a hard fact is as prosperous the launches can be, it's still gonna need around 5-10 years up to maturity.

Hi Sean, after reviewing so many Batu Kawan projects, do you think with so many high rise units, will there be oversupply? The potential population seems to come from the industrial park and university only. Others like the biomedical hub still seems far away

You know, you should do Staycation #001 when things are free up. I mean you help the viewers in selections & also help the hotel industry itself. Great video here hands down and imagine rich fellas who can purchase two units and break it through since theres no obstruction of beams like my friend's parents did, view will be quite nice.

All this high density stingy " HK style living" won't end well. Absurd as BKaw is supposed to be about more space, but instead, dense until like island. You can still get new completed 3 story inter DST in BM for 600k+. Completed years ago. "new toilet" water fish are welcome to buy these BKaw projects. Another thing is there is a generous sized low dense new condo right by the seaside in Butterworth Air Tawar at almost half this price, 350k +/-.
