Gallows were the best f*cking band for about 5 minutes and in 2020 I bet nobody remembers who they are. I dunno if the sound guys didn't know who he was or what but this would have been absolutely amazing if they'd have just got him to do the whole song on his own but I guess you've got a younger guy full of energy (and crack) and a stage full of podgy 50 year olds (apart from Tim who looks as badass as he ever did) and they're not gone be able to control him. Shame. I met Frank when ten years before this when he wasn't obviously doing drugs and he was a cool dude.
@vuriby
@vuriby 4 жыл бұрын
@@TheAcuphase If anything I'd say it's been the opposite. He's done drugs backstage (along with tattooing) for sure when he was in the Gallows. He always seemed to be a very sweet dude, but he was much more angry at that time. Nowadays he's quite tame compared to before, which make sense now that he's a father.

Why is everyone bitching? I thought this was fantastic. The group consits of B Real (Cypress Hill) who heavily influenced RATM and Chuck D (Public Enemy) who is a great lyricist who wrote politically and socially conscious lyrics. I think people just want RATM to get back if that's the case quit bitching on other projects that they are doing and go listen to RATM
@BuckDat
@BuckDat 6 жыл бұрын
It's weird cause I remember when Zack first left the band, I heard that they had asked Chuck D to join and I distinctly remember hearing on the radio that B-Real was going to be the new vocalist for RATM. This was all a couple years before Audioslave.

rage always used capitalism to spread their message. its always been an issue of hypocrisy from the beginning but its that way for every hip hop group and rapper. You dont usually call them sell outs for trying to speak to the people and getting a bit of success doing so. But when they attempt to delve into mixing rock music into it, they cross a line and they get questioned and called sell outs. This was the same situation that happened with Ice T and his band when he was doing rock songs with a message and ended up getting banned for being violent. Even though at the time everything was violent anti authority gangster rap and angsty violent rock music. Because he dared to cross over he was the one scrutinized.
