a very important con is that its EXTREMELY toxic to pets. just a tiny, tiny bit can kill your pet. dont use it if you have a pet, if they lick your hand or face and you have some trace amounts, it will put them in danger.
@Bluetrekkie
@Bluetrekkie 2 жыл бұрын
It’s actually not quite as dangerous as people make out. Especially if using the foam. The only way the toxicity will kill your pet is if they ingested it/you put it directly on them. It really is quite safe. Just don’t let them lick your face/hair & wash your hands after applying it. 😊

Just started using a whole beard grow kit from Amazon called Follicle Booster bout a day ago. It comes with derma roller and comb as well as a regimen to follow that involves derma and minox and also Soap, and beard growth serum/oil. Today is day two for me. I'm pre T, trans guy, using minox and also derma Rollin 3 times a week, once every other day at night with the beard serum/oil and then, minox every morning, and one rest day of no minox or anything. Once again, I'm pre t so, I figured I can't get on T yet, but might as well try this out n see how it goes. Oh also, I workout, stopped smokin, I started biotin supplements one pill twice everyday. Drink lots of water too. Hopefully I get some gains. Wish me luck y'all.

@@MichaeltheRatManif any of you are still looking into this, it’s marginally genetics and the level of beta certain3 (or something like that I forgot) that determines how well it works. For me I was on it for around a month and I already had a mustache and sideburns (along with excess hair around the upper cheeks), however my father could grow a full beard within four weeks. It definitely works but check in with your fathers or mothers to get a grasp of how it will affect you within a reasonable range.

I started yesterday, hoping to ease my dysphoria. I've IDed as nonbinary for a long time, but am becoming increasingly more masc in my feelings and I'm not sure on just how far I want my transition to go. I'm only using it once in the morning to avoid contact with my pillows at night to keep my cats safe. Wish me luck bros

I am so happy you made this video. I am a transAgender person who doesn't want to go on T but does really want to start growing facial hair. I have been thinking about minoxidil but I have been struggling to find videos about trans usage of minoxidil for pre-t. It isn't very accessible for me in my country price wise, but I think I can justify the price for the results.

I have pcos, I’m pre t Im getting more facial hair, and lots of body hair lmao. because i have higher testosterone levels cus of pcos. do you know if it’ll work like that too? Might be a dumb question idk I also have super super sensitive skin. Like stuff meant for sensitive skin irritates it a LOT. I might just try it out and see what happens but I’m also super broke Plus having pcos, even tho I hate it it’s painful and the effects on my body sucks, but the higher t levels have helped me a lot since I’m not able to be on t yet, I already have more acne just from the pcos. Point id. I’m also not out to most of my family so imma just blame it on the pcos until it’s absolutely necessary, which hopefully I’ll be able to cut contact by then. Sorry for the mini rant and probably tmi. I’m mostly just bored. And I talk a lot.

I have been using minoxodil 5% liquid form for a month now and i see no difference I have some facial hair but i want it to be more fuller as i can only grow a light mustache and light chin hair/lower jaw area. I take testosterone (0.15ml once weekly) intramuscular. I think there's a possibility that Minoxodil doesn't work on everybody regardless if you're on Testosterone or not.

i don't really recommend using it on any other part of your body, but honestly i managed to get thicker body hair by shaving a ton since it grows back a little thicker so try that

Oh god i have terrible sensory issues due to my autism but im willing to suffer for a greater cause,, also, i know its a late comment but i have a question. My countries alternative has 5% minoxidil and they recommend putting it twice a day, 1ml each (as for scalp hair). The bottle i found is 60ml so it would last a month, tho as you said its expensive and i canNOT afford to buy it every month lol. My question is, and its probably silly, but do i have to do it every day as long as i can or until im satisfied with the growth (provided theres no alergic reaction etc)? Like, it wont just start deteriorating when i stop using it, right? Also, do you think it is somewhat possible to grow hair after one month of using 2 times a day (my hair grows fast overall), or is it like a bigger and longer investment? Thank you!

@@Sinner1660 Ooh that's so cool! Have you been using it once or twice a day? I'm in a more stable situation right now so I could afford to buy this every month (it's still a lot of money lol), do you think it's worth a try to see if it'll do anything during the first few weeks? Ty!

@@thetoybonnielps Where I am, it costs 30 UK GPB to get what I believe is a months supply. If that's doable for you after converting to your land of currency ( 😂 ) Id suggest to get one... And recommend trying it at least especially if T isn't on your near horizon like mine isn't. (Found a way to get my own, I'm 32 and tired of GP saying no for years with no actual reason whilst also seeing how bad I'm getting with it.) So. Use once or twice a day and just see what happens. Using one a day isn't an issue, I've been doing that. I noticed a diff mid way through week three... "Wait.... They're (peach fuzz) definitely longer... Oh hell yeah imagine the difference doing this for six months...!? And I SWEAR I cut my head hair last week wth." *Grabs scissors with irritated delight* They say not to expect results for three months but that's for those trying to use the product as intended for receding hairlines/general hair loss. I recommend taking biotin supplements with it I don't recall if this vid mentions or not I can't even recall what vid this is under.. again tho. I wasn't taking them till recently so my results don't include that either. :) It's just a boost. Eat baked beans once or twice a week if you can bear to. Helps with hair production. I am naturally somewhat olive skinned and v dark brown but not black hair so I only need to carefully apply bits of mascara to my now obvious but otherwise faint peach fuzz. With the mascara done lightly I literally look like I've got that patchy teen facial hair which is perfect. Can't just spawn some in and be taken seriously. Sadly. 😂 Haven't been ID d for years in a row until it's happened twice this week alone because I've now got actual facial hair. Shame can't show pics here in chat. Bonus, slightly unrelated but sort of related, info: 👇 (SPEAKING of facial hair... there's an amazing Etsy shop I found recently that hand crafts realistic ASF facial hair made to measure on your facial features. Anyone Interested? Tag me n I'll throw the shop name your way- I'm deffo getting one or two for when things have progressed enough for it to not look out of place on me. Don't know how long they'll be around for but their skill is worth snatching up and that's coming from my incredibly fussy standards. They do realistic and any coloured hairs human and not for an alarmingly fair price. Neither sus nor remotely extortionate.) Hope any of that helps! Haven't had my meds today and my thought processes have all scattered to the quantum winds. They er... Should return...

@@Sinner1660 Two things: -Please do drop that Etsy shop name! :D -What specific brand of minoxidil are you using? there’s quite a few that pop up and I’m not sure which to go with/which ones are actually trustworthy and hope those thoughts return!…
@Sinner1660

@@LordSplinkoTheThird Shop name: PrismaticPostiche When I figure out what to measure my face with without having to go buy a tape measure... I'll be getting two of them I think. Brand name: Rogaine I believe. Brand doesn't matter. What you want to look for is the Minoxidil ingredient. Go for 5% Minoxidil strength that's what ai use based on seeing most others recommend. Strength may vary region to region so just whatever is there. The active ingredient is there regardless of brand so it's the same as buying ibuprofen or nurofen. Same medicine; diff price for named/top brand. (If you/ anyone reading this has anymore Qs I'm happy to be tagged to see if I know the answer. Research is an enjoyment of mine so there's a *chance* I'll either know more than many or learn from someone else who does know.) Thoughts have indeed returned, thank you. In spite of no sleep. Hope you're well- good luck on your Minoxidil journey! Genuinely curious to hear how it goes should you remember to update me/remember where to find this thread. Again if you have darker hair you'll likely reap better rewards with it.
