As a cis-dude I'm not sure if this'll help but: If you like the look, Leather biker and bomber jackets can be a good choice since they tend to have extra padding around the shoulders and collar. Also in terms of hygiene products Lynx (or Axe if you're outside the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand) has a really nice smelling "Leather & Cookies" deodorant and shower gel. As a slight side-note: I do think that many hygiene products are unnecessarily gendered... The stuff I use for my hair is mostly marketed towards women but it's good for taming my long hair.

I pass very well in public, here are some things to try! Try getting a haircut that matches your face, I have a heart shaped face, so I have a mullet. Since I've cut my hair like that I've been passing very very well. I would recommend exploring what styles make you look masc, that could be a mullet, a buzz cut, or fluffy shags! Whatever makes you feel more like you. Makeup! Do not over contour...it makes you look weird and bruised, trust me I know from experience, lolz! Light contour really helps with passing. Loose clothes! Oversized T's can make you look a little kid, but if you wanna, go ahead! Men's clothes are loose fitting, so finding some are pretty easy. Mind you, these tips might not work for everyone. Everyone is different! Good luck :)

My biggest tip: go buy a men’s razor and shave your facial hair. It helps me a lot dealing with my disphoria. I thought I would feel worse, because like my “beard” is gone, but no. The feeling of a shaved face (even for days after) is so amazing.

Great video, dude! I'm at a fun stage in my transition (Pre-T, out socially since 2019, finally gotten around to identifying as a binary guy) where the vast majority of the time I get well-intentioned misgenderings from strangers, but every so often somebody is utterly confused as to how I'm not a cis dude. One time I told a girl I was trans at a party (because my step-cousin of all people deadnamed me) and she went “Oh my god, you're non-binary?!” because she was convinced I was AMAB. Personally something that makes me feel really masculine, although it definitely doesn't apply to everyone, is taking an active role in flirting and relationships. Ex: I've got a type when it comes to shy, AMAB mlm/nblms meanwhile I'm a really outgoing extrovert, and that dynamic makes me feel like the ultimate Casanova lol

As a trans woman: there is a big difference between men's razors and women's. It's how clean you can shave legs (and face) with them - I swear by Gillette Venus Simply 2, a women's disposable razor model, it shaves everything. Before laser finished burning off my facial hair - it was the only razor that I found, after trying many models from BIC and Gillette and random store brands, that fully shaved off my facial hair without leaving those little black dots. So naturally - if you are transmasculine and desire the opposite effect, to leave those dots, especially with facial hair because growing out a beard starts with shaving your face to look professional, until you see enough dots to grow out something stylish and professional, and then letting it grow - you should definitely use a regular men's razor for your face then.

I’m not transgender, but- I don’t know how to say this without sounding like a pick me girl, but I’m I guess the best way to describe it is a tomboy… 😅 but anyway, you help me a lot because there’s all this pressure everyone is putting on me to be feminine, examples: you need to start putting makeup on, your a girl. Shave your legs. You need to “show off” your legs more (whatever that means) you have to wear a dress, it’s a wedding, your a girl, you can’t wear a suit, etc etc etc. u help me a lot thank u I promise I’m not a pick me girl

my mum was also not that excited about me wanting boxers. she tried to buy me womens "boxer cut" and stuff like that, but that all sucked, because it kept sliding around and stuff. what actually helped me A LOT was high-waisted womans underwear. unicolor, no pattern. the feeling of pulling underwear on higher than ever before is really great, and, you might actually see your underwear peeking above your pants just a bit. i live alone now, and buy my own boxers, but i still wear the high-waisted feminine underwear sometimes. i wish you luck on your journey, the future is bright and queer :)))

Guys! Just ask your parents or parent to buy female boxers they probably wont even ask since its a thing, plus they are far more comfortable as theyre stretchy etc.
@Asher-pb5js6 ай бұрын
I may ask if I can get boxers to sleep in, but then like actually wear them as underwear. I haven't come out yet, but doing those small things will really help! My family is homo and transphobic (they think the whole lgbtq family is satanic) so I do have to be careful. To hide my chest, I have this tight bra and then just put on a baggy shirt and it hides them pretty well. Before I realized I was trans, ppl would always be like "are u a guy or girl" or "sir?" Or "he blah blah blah" and I'd be like uHm I'm a sHe- isn't it obvious? But looking in the mirror I do have a very masc face. Only my hair gives away I'm a girl (and I could still be a guy with long hair who knows) But now that I've accepted im trans, im actually glad of my masculine features. Honestly, idk how my family hasn't realized this yet. I've always been your tomboy, outdoorsy, masculine "girl" so idk how ppl haven't realized lol
