So just tried this. I'm in Eldorado and it doesn't seem to be as effective as I'd hoped. Prices were similar, but I was drawing too many "brilliants" rather than "pristines". A huge component of this is RNG which makes it inherently risky. Spent a few thousand on platinum (priced between .34 - .45) and could barely make the coin back. Definitely keeping this in the back of my mind though when plat ore drops and gems go up, this will net profit at some point, just need to wait for the right time! Damn, that's a shame. Did you look into turning it into powerful gem dust? Seems to add profit for me, and free jewelcrafting XP.

Yea, would kill prices even further though. Turning the gems into powerful gem dust is a great way to get them to sell faster and be more useful, but you have to check prices before doing so to make sure you're not losing profit.

Yea, would just maximize profits even more, and get a couple extra aptitude crates as well.

@@NewbWorld I found something way better! Spilaio cavern, full mining luck, loads of easy pristine gems straight from the nodes. Then activate farming xp booster and use all the bizzare ore. Easy 5-10-20 aptitude levels. Idk what they were thinking with that cave no wonder it's so cheap the ore 😂😂

Curious why you didn’t refine them to check for max profitability? Even with crafting fees I’d expect the profits to be way higher. Or checking if fusing gems is profitable from the smaller caches would have been nice too. Thanks for the vid though

It's more just that the amount of charts and math would have made the video a lot longer and might have bored some people, like having to state the prices of all the essence used, I felt it would over complicate things. I thought about turning it all into powerful gemstone dust, but that would have basically been the same profit on most of the purp gems.

@@NewbWorld before you do anything I find it’s important to check the daily prices at the market. I looked at adamantine dust 3 days ago was about $600. Thought it was too much. Had to buy it for $1250 last night, ugh.

Yea, skinning is the next skill I am looking into money making methods for. I assume it's pretty profitable since the crafting gear is pretty expensive.
