I worked in retail most of my 70 years and had several prostitutes as customers. They never ask for credit always pay cash and don't cause trouble. Some were thankful for letting them shop in my store. In the 80s I ran a drugstore in the downtown district it was common for them to come in and spend $150 at a time. As a Sacramento local myself (just moved here from a small town), this interview has really highlighted how naive I still am, and how much I have to be grateful for. I could be walking down the street or driving to school and have no clue that this girl's mother is right next to me (since she said her mother still resides here in Sac). She is a beautiful and articulate young woman, and if I could rewire my life to be entering my senior year of college at the age of 27, I KNOW she can do the same, if not surpass me.
