I travelled from Northern California to Lakeway, Texas, for the eclipse. We were lucky, and the clouds broke just in time for an almost clear view of the 3:15 of totality. 15 minutes later, the clouds came back in and we never saw the sun again. 4500 miles, 19 days, and amazing country to drive through. I am thinking about the 300LS as a bike to put on the back of my motorhome for exploring easy trails.

We flew to Dallas, but then drove up to a small town in Arkansas (Oden) and had perfectly clear skies. We definitely got lucky.

Changing my old Himalayan bars to the protaper ba4s was a great change for me too. I did a throttle tamer on my KLR and it worked great.

Awesome content!! Did you have any issues when installing the G2? Fitment ok? Thank you

Thanks for the video, nice job sir. I like your approach to the channel. No criticism here. Would have helped to see the new and old bars together for comparison. I like the bike.

I been hoping you would consider doing another review of this beautiful MC. (Honda 300 LS) I want one but still none available.

I'm planning to do a comprehensive 1-year review sometime in June/July.

How is the throttle response now that you installed the g2? Smoother delivery or still jerky?
@On2Feet2 ай бұрын
I talked about this in another video...but the short of it is that the bars are fine (and improved the connection points of the hand guards), but the throttle tamer did absolutely nothing and is not worth the money. The only things that have slightly improved the jerky throttle have been simply tightening the cable, going through the electronic throttle reset procedures (they're detailed online and can be found with a google search), and marginally with the ECU upgrade (but only marginally).

what mirrors are those?
@On2Feet7 ай бұрын
They are just the standard doubletake adv mirrors.
