The U.S. government is trying to pass the Protect-IP act, SOPA, E-Parasite act which limits free speech, and takes control away from the people and gives it to big studios and the government, and could lead to the outlaw of KZbin, Facebook, Twitter and more. I agree with Jeremy, we as people of america and the world should be able to express our own opinions on a movie or video game that is probably either good,decent,mediocre, or bad, and the internet is for that, so it's a miracle that SOPA never passed, but if SOPA did come back and be on the verge of being passed, then we must fight it with our all.

I HATE this! My friend and I literally just started a web-series a few weeks ago, and now all this happens! If this bill passes, the occasional clips from movies, tv shows, and movie trailers that we throw in will be considered a crime. Thanks for providing the links, Jeremy! I think this should be a wake up call to us. We need to get organized and we need to do it quickly. We should start a list of acceptable politicians and unacceptable politicians, and we ALL need to go vote for them. Craigslist would probably be the best since it is already localized. I suck at building websites, but a new website probably won't catch on either, it needs to be a big name youtube, google, craigslist, etc.

@IINesasta This is different, the bill only affects American based websites such as KZbin and Twitter, anything that's not from the US is outside of their jurisdiction. People worldwide who use American based sites will be affected.

This is like the Australian internet censorship thing all over again. We fought that and it died before ever getting voted on. It was aimed more at blocking porn and other "nasty" stuff. But I remember saying the exact same thing as you J', I was shocked it was even thought up and suggested. Australia feels your pain US, fight this thing and win! If we could do it, you can too!
