I hate to be a Daniel Downer here, but you can get a lot more protection for splitters and spoilers at much less expense doing what I’ve been doing for over 20 years. I use 1” wide 3M trim adhesive tape to affix five 1” wide aluminum strips, about 1/16” thick, running “bow to stern”. I space them all equally with one in the middle, and one on each far end, etc. They will audibly grind if your car’s snout ventures into danger, and keep your rig off the grinder. Replace any individual strip as required. Add more if you want, just be sure to go front to back. All ingredients are available at any big-box store for less than $20 all in. Embrace the drop.

HorsePower Obsessed Especially after I bought a 17 Z06 with Z07 aero and I agree it was the sweet spot with a being the best deal at the time you suggested it. What I did was to put round nosed screws through nut-plates. Not realizing there was product to deal with it as it doesn’t take much for contact. That said, a great post on what is available and Sliplo will do a much better job as I have managed to get a scrape between screws...

You can add more if you'd like, but the design of the C7 front lip has it hit in the very front first. The SLIPLO will push it up enough to prevent damage all the way back. I will definitely report back after a few weeks on this product and a lowered car and let you know how it holds up!

It looks like from the design it's made to protect from head on damage prevention. How well does it work for something like backing out of a driveway for example? Would anything catch our cause issue? I've got a c6 427 convertible and the driveway is killing my front carbon splitter. It'll have to be replaced. I have to back out, no choice due to the incline. The splitter is rubbing and the concrete is cutting through it just like rough sandpaper. Hoping this can be a good addition with the new splitter that's going to have to be installed.
