Sure there is a chance to hit the lightning current in that GI mast also. So that pipe also should connected to earth is better option. If possible maintain the equal potential value in earthing is much better 👍

No. This is for full coverage for a house. Ideally this is the better solution but unfortunately it is much more expensive.
