After alot of research I purchased two of these mirror cams in May 2021. When I registered the cameras the company contacted me through email and offered me the GPS units for free. That was awesome. In the booklet for the cams I noticed that I could add an additional room camera. I have since gotten those and installed them. Note that the firmware has to be updated in order for the room cam to work. A quick email to the company and they sent me a link to the firmware update I needed. I am very satisfied with this unit over my old one, different company. That one worked well till the back camera, which was supposed to be water proof turned out not to be. This one has the back cam installed inside. I have now ordered the hardwire to make my camera full time on. It's crazy around here in Southern Oregon with thefts, accidents, speeders, and very angry drivers. Thanks for the video.

You are so right about the situations we can find ourselves in these days. I never thought it could happen to me, but last month I went grocery shopping on of the most traveled of our boulevards in Tampa and I got caught in a big protest where they blocked all 8 lanes and even the side streets where drivers were trying to escape down. We had to drive through a restaurant parking lot to get out of it. They were not violent, luckily, but it was shocking to be caught up in it. I would have appreciated a dash camera that day. You just never know what is going to happen.

We have a 2000 Winnebago Class C. We are getting ready to sell the house and Winnie to get a Class A and hit the road. I am going to have to learn how to drive it, and that mirror system would be awesome! ❤️

I'm still looking, but I think I'm probably better off waiting a little while until the market calms down perhaps after Christmas or into the Spring. 🤷‍♂️ The RV market is so saturated and overpriced right now. I've got my eyes and ears open and the right one will come along at the right time… I waited this long, a little while longer is not a big deal.

Gene's Therapy I have a Newmar Canyon star 3410. I’ve been on the road solo for two years now. Currently hanging out near Sedona. I haven’t taken any videos of my actual travels because they’re pretty boring just going from a to B. However I have a 4 Month Road trip planned beginning January 15 going through Texas and winding up at the Ron Coleman Crystal mine in Jessieville Arkansas. That might be a good time for me to video my adventures. I do have a go pro 5, do you think that would be sufficient? Would also be an great time for me to use the new system in your video LOL hint hint hint

Finally got granite coming beginning of next month, can't wait!

Can’t wait to see it. Be sure to seal granite because my mom had a brand new tiny bathroom vanity with it. Had lemon liquid hand soap bottle on it which had a crack in the bottle. Even though I had sealed the granite a few times, it went right through and caused a spot. Tried all kinds of pastes to try to draw out the spot. It was still there when the house was sold but hardly noticeable....thank God.

Thank you for all of your product reviews, including this one! You give a useful, honest review. I already have the AKASO for my motorhome, and now I am deciding what I want to get for my Jeep. I bought that power station that you reviewed (Sunglife) and that has proved to be invaluable, but not the way you would think. I have not used the battery, but I have used the charger cord that came with it! I left for summering here in Maine with my laptop, but the charger cord got left behind. How did I do that? Anyhow, the charger cord for the power station had all sorts of tips. I found one that works for my laptop, and I have power! I am really paying attention to your product reviews. Good to see you still have your sense of humor during this summer of no fun in 2020.

Thanks BG this looks pretty fancy. I know that I am glad that I have a dash cam. In 2017 I was in an accident I mentioned to the trooper that I had the camera he said do you mind if I look I said ahead he determined on the spot no body argued it was cut and dry. It does look like a very nice camera though I think they didn't include the GPS module because so many vehivcles already have GPS.

Alright....the cam system I have in my RV is old. How old? I guess it came with the RV. We bought our gal used and have not upgrades the camera system. The rear cam...might as well take guesses as to what is back there because the camera isn't all that clear. The front has no camera...but I guess when it comes to traveling and accidents it would be a great thing to have. This 2020 has been such a wash to us - - we had reservations and plans to camp out with the cycling team and enjoy some campfires, movies and great food. But with the whole Social-Distancing Restrictions....our plans took a poop. We still use our RV to get to the cycling racing venue....however, we the parents cannot leave our vehicles...only the student athletes and the coaches are allowed to go to the starting line and it is now one team at a time racing and then all the teams times are compared---2020!!!! Anyway....I think any family would be happy with the Pormido Dash Cam. I thought it had a great resolution and nice colors. PS---Did you tell us about that painting behind you???? I love it! It's like ocean waves hitting the sand.

I'm really interested in getting this for my updated 2004 Mercury Sable (new struts, tires, and a passenger foot panel). Got this baby brand new and it rides like a Cadillac. Hi, a unit like this this might actually save my marriage! We recently bought a small 1999 motorhome and the rear visibility is very poor. While I’m trying to back it up, my wife’s shouting, with her arms flailing around in the side mirror is our usual announcement that we have arrived in the campground... it can get pretty intense! It saves a new clip to the card every 1 to 3 minutes depending on what you have it set on in settings. It just keeps saving them, once the card is full, it continues to save clips and overwrite the old ones. You can simply lock the ones that you don't want overwritten until you download them off the SD card.

Why didn't you keep it? If you really liked, it seems odd you wouldn't. It only keeps a max of 3min? That isn't long enough. At least 15min is needed. Imagine you get an officer that is misbehaving, and you only have the last 3min to take to court. Does it automatically save the videos after a crash? It won't be any use if it keeps recording after you crash and overwrites the events that caused it.

I already have one, so I give things away to my viewers. You can adjust the loop times infinitely. Yes, during a g-impact detection is automatically saves those files separately and will not overwrite unless you want to delete those. Take a look at their website for more info. @@GenesTherapy Hmm that is a tough one. It looks like the Akaso has better menus and the GPS integration is good. Not sure what this one would do if you had the module. I have an Akaso 4K action cam where the video looks terrible due to huge amounts of noise and several features don't work right, so kind of a fool me once situation... Loosing the third camera is an issue though, and having the front camera move around if someone adjusts the mirror is too. Have you used one enough to where you always leave the rear view on, and never use the mirror (and therefore never move it)? Or do you find you still want to use both?

I would love to win this dash cam the way that people drive now a days is crazy they cut me off very close and my husband is in a wheelchair and if someone hits my 🚗 car and hurts us and lies and tries to blame me it would very be very bad for us. Power port/ cig lighter. If you prefer hard wired you can just cut that off and run it under the dash to tie into a 12v line.
