That was so compelling to hear the comment about the possibility of a child not growing up with the fear of judgment and of a god that is monitoring their every thought. What an alternative reality to the one many of us grew up with! I love these videos of you and your kids.

I still remember when we went out on an evangelical outreach with this church to a park, and some over zealous leaders were telling these young teenagers about the Dark place their going if they don't accept Jesus. It affected me where eventually everything boiled over and rejected Christianity. 38-39 years ago. Never regretted or looked back. I don't want to be that kind of a person or even associated with them.

Religious trauma is equated to the lack of faith in God through a relationship and asking him to guide you and laziness, pure laziness. Hhuman beings, glomming on to someone else, because everyone else is doing it and going along to get along is the reason why this world is in the state that it is, and will always be because nobody ever learns. For the most part parents that reject their upbringing usually continue to abuse their children by doing the exact opposite in the exact same way, becoming exactly like the person who may hate because they hate them and their nature becomes their nature. From Adam all the way down to our great grandchildren. Nobody ever takes themselves off the hamster wheel.
