Poor Eperlan! He does not like being left behind! That foot soak in epsom salts was likely very helpful in pulling out any remaining toxins. Using disposable diapers as a dressing is a brilliant idea! Grace has become an absolutely beautiful horse! It’s hard to believe she is the same horse who appeared to be on death’s door when you first brought her home! If I were there, I’d kiss her too! Give her one for me, please!

Harold is the most social turkey I have ever seen. Such a photogenic thing. Good looking in a way that I have never thought of turkeys. What a fabulous bond of trust you all have with Eperlan. He is so calm with his treatment. And I must say well done to doing the intermediate things to make the horses comfortable over winter while you work towards more permanent solutions. Very resourceful.

There is always something to do when you have horses. I only have 2 but the things you have to do changes with the seasons. Whether it is fly control, fans and bush hogging the pastures in summer or bring in and stacking hay or cleaning stalls and filling water troughs for winter.

Eperlan is cheeky, but he really is a good boy. I was wondering if they made gum boots for horses. That mesh should keep the stable much warmer. Just ask any lady who has worn stockings! Here's wishing all of the Moons a happy, healthy New Year.
