Protecting Youth Mental Health Panel Discussion

More than 100 community members and health care professionals attended our 4th Annual Mental Health Seminar to learn more about the signs of mental health disorders and ways to support struggling youth. An estimated 49.5 percent of adolescents has had a mental health disorder at some point in their lives, according to the National Institute of Mental Health. However, early intervention and treatment can help lessen the impact on their lives.
As a children’s hospital, we take an active role in advancing the care and well-being of children and teens in our community. Fulfilling our mission would not be possible without the support of so many incredible community organizations and local elected officials in supporting our community’s youth.
