After 4 years of marriage, a son together and many memories in the Philippines, Chrissy enters the USA for the first time on a Green Card by Marriage visa (IR1) on Christmas Eve. We celebrate the day and walk around the neighborhood for the first time.

I remember my first time setting my foot on the American soil, it was Cinco de Mayo 2003, that was some 20 years ago in LAX. I loved the cool air and first time I saw big white tulips. What struck me so much after the 3 months I spent at once in the Phils, was landing in the USA and getting a limo (this is pre-Uber) from the airport, and not seeing *anyone* walking along the side of the road. Even at the airport in Manila, you would see people walking everywhere. The USA can look like a "ghost town" at first by contrast - wonder if you notice that as well?
